The road to Nationals continues for New Directions, the Ohio high-school choir with the New York state of mind. As anticipation builds for Fox's May 24 season finale of 'Glee,' another original song has been released, and can be heard here after the jump.'Pretending,' with lead vocals by Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, is a ballad with a heartbeat-mimicking back beat, and it showcases a more mature sound from the 'Glee' crew.
As AOL Music recently reported, the show's producers pegged Savan Kotecha to write a fresh track for this spring's season finale episode, and the result sounds as if Rachel and Finn may be 'Pretending' to make up, with the baggage of their past keeping them from being together -- or maybe the passionate duet is all just a make-believe daydream?
You can have a listen to 'Pretending' here.

Love the show and all the players gay, straight or other. They are a talented group and I enjoy the music they perform each week. The show lifts my spirit and soul....

probably one of the dumbest statements i've heard..what you don't like good singing..my daughter and i watch it every week..teaches many lessons about people and life that you never learned JR walter that's an old name from an old person it sucks..see we all hate something..lol
Reply
That's kinda ironic that you say that. Because it teaches lessons about people as intolerable as you. Maybe you should watch a couple episodes.

Stand your ground Walt the show sucks

If it sucks why do you watch it? I ask because the only way you can say that it does is you've been watching it. Probably from the closet in your basement bedroom at your parents house.
does any feel like the beginning is SOOO SIMILAR to rihanna's california king bed?

I think the first couple of lines remind me of it alot! like lyrics are the same but after that it doesnt really sound the same or the lyrics arent similiar, but its been awhile since ive listened to california king bed
Haters: You took 5 minutes out of your precious life to listen to this song so obviously it was worth your time. Or maybe your just hating on it even though you didn't listen to it. Why do people hate on Glee even though they have probably never seen a full episode before...

They do that to make themselves feel better about their miserable lives. Haters aren't happy unless they're hating something or somebody.
Truth is haters are not all that bright and GLEE is just too sophisticated for them.
this show is such a waste of time and money. i suppose that makes me a hater. if other people like it that's fine but don't be a hater of other people who don't. you are just as guilty of hate as anyone else it's just reversed.

Plenty of shows I don't like and there is a simple solution, change the channel or turn off the TV. Stop wasting time spewing hatred for no other reason than to make yourself feel better trying to drag someone down to your level.

Glee is a great show, and it is not about being gay. It's about life lessons, and I, personally, love the song.
