Britney Spears Headlines Star-Studded Concert as Host, Not Singer

Britney Spears, who was characterized as mentally unsound by her mom's legal team recently, was tapped by Los Angeles' KIIS FM to guest-host with Ryan Seacrest at this weekend's annual Wango Tango concert at the Staples Center.

Fans enjoyed a diverse roster, according to MTV News, including performances from Jennifer Lopez, Ke$ha, Selena Gomez, Cobra Starship, T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco, Cody Simpson, Far East Movement and 'Glee' star Matthew Morrison.

Ke$ha brandished her famous glitter gun for her second year appearing at Wango Tango. And J.Lo rocked her spangled catsuit, but was hampered by a sudden, serious audio glitch (video after the jump). For a long stretch of her single 'On the Floor,' the 'American Idol' star had to improvise booty bumps after her mic went out.

Britney looks good and sounds good and with all the drama she has gone thru in the past few years, she seems to have her head pretty well together. I listen to her music and could care less what she does in her personal life. Her last cd was and still is fantastic. Now if she wants to go out and get loaded and fall on her face, well that is her right. I give her a lot of credit for pulling it together the way she has and her music tells that story.

I thought he handled that like any experienced professional. Keep the show going until the problem is fixed. I have seen a few shows in my day where things have gone horribly wrong, what happens next sepperates the pros from the wannabes. JLo proved she was a pro.

Britney's parents are looking out for her and for Lynne. Britney needs to stay clear of leeches like Lutfi and Lynn needs Britney to stay off the witness stand to avoid the case being able to go ahead thus stalling it. To be honest, I have Bipolar disorder, I live with it everyday, and things can be VERY stressful, especially when you are trying to cut away bad things from your life like people who cheer you on into a downward spiral. Britney and I hit a mania patch around the same time and I actually shaved my head just days before she did, so it was really hard dealing with THAT! I have to say if she seems dazed and tired she probably is. I take several medications and I sleep atleast twelve hours a day during my downswings.

Jennifer Lopez handled herself very well in a bad situation! That's called, ad libbing at it's best. I'm not Hispanic nor do I push for any race, creed, nationality etc, but I do push for body type and confidence.

Jennifer has given the world back the womanly figure and confidence. I Love her and think she's one of the most beautiful,talented and graceful women on the planet.

I can identify with Brit on being able to cope with certain things better than other's.I'm sure sitting in front of a confrontational court house is much easier then doing a concert in front of admiring fans.I'm glad she has good loving parents and a manager that isn't cut throat.

I meant to write easier to do a concert then sit in front of a court.Sorry.
