Gordon Ramsay to Be Sued by Mother-in-Law

Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares continue, as the U.K.'s Daily Mail reports that his mother-in-law, Greta Hutcheson, is planning to sue him.

It's the latest chapter in the foul-mouthed chef's familial saga: Last year Ramsay's father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, who ran the business side of Ramsay's empire, had a bitter falling out with Ramsay and was abruptly fired. Hutcheson accused his son-in-law of 'violent mood swings' and even hinting that he was on drugs -- a claim that Ramsay adamantly denied.

Hutcheson's wife, mother of Ramsay's wife Tana, will allegedly file suit next, claiming breach of contract, unfair dismissal, breach of working times and failure to pay redundancies. Her son and grandson are also suing Ramsay under similar charges.

The 'Hell's Kitchen' star has claimed that on his 44th birthday, Greta Hutcheson sent a letter to her daughter that read: "Tana, you are not welcome anywhere near our door. I cannot believe that you have done this to your father. Until you dispose of that man, you are not welcome back."

Ramsay battled back by publishing an open letter begging his mother-in-law to see her daughter, claiming that his wife was "in floods of tears." He wrote, "You're punishing your daughter and our four children for all the wrong reasons."

The TV chef married Tana, a school-teacher, in 1996. Three years ago, a tabloid alleged that the famously ill-tempered cook had been conducting a seven-year affair with a mistress in Britain. Photos of Ramsay leaving the alleged other woman's expensive hotel room seemed to verify the report.

In happier news, the Ramsays will be the godparents of David and Victoria Beckham's baby daughter, due this summer. The two couples are longtime friends, and even spent last Christmas together.

I am glad this punk is getting screwed after all his mouthy ratings B.S. over the years. I could never stand watching his show. I told my wife I was surprised after all that time a few of the people that went on his show hadn't taken a swing at him by now, because I would have busted his jaw for half the belittling rants he went off on....lol

Gail, me too, I hope Gordon gives them nothing.
It sounds like the mother in law, is a real piece of work.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with her, or anyone like her.
I am thankful for Gordon, he has helped many family owned restaurants in this country.
After watching his show a few times, I was shocked at how some are so nasty. And if not for Gordon, we would be eating there, the way it was..

Makes no sense that his in laws are punishing their daughter .... Too bad the daughter has such unreasonable parents.

When you have children and let them fly away to do their adult thing you have to accept their decision's. You can not ration their love or put demands on their love of you.Their love for each other will see them through. You two can talk to the wall.

Don't believe I would want a foul mouthed Ramsey anywhere near my children! His wife is ridiculous to stay with him. He cheats on her, disrespects his children, and now causes total mayhem by treating her family like rogues. What a total JERK. No fan of BLOODY FOUL MOUTHED JERK.
