Source: Charlie Sheen 'Destroyed' by Ashton News
Charlie Sheen wasted no time on Friday to mock the
decision to replace him on 'Two and a Half Men' with
Ashton Kutcher, calling the 'That '70s Show' alum a "sweetheart" but a choice that would bring the show down. Despite his public show of gravitas, a source close to Charlie tells me that privately he's "destroyed" by the casting news.
"He really thought that he would be invited back," a friend of Charlie's tells me. "After years of suffering no consequences for his behavior, why would he think anything else? Finally it has sunk in that he doesn't live by different rules to everyone else. Actions do have a consequences."
Following the news that CBS and Warner Bros. Television was going with Ashton, the young actor released a statement praising Charlie. "I can't replace Charlie Sheen but I'm going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!"
In return, Charlie said: "Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I!!" the actor told
TMZ. "Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."
My source reveals that the casting has hit him hard and that the lack of other offers has weighed heavily on him.
"He is destroyed that Ashton is replacing him. Destroyed," the friend says. "We are all worried that he hasn't hit bottom yet and that this could make him spiral out of control again. Especially after all the other productions that he assumed would happen have fell apart."
Shortly after Charlie was fired he hinted that he was in talks with FOX and HDNet and that he expected to get paid $1 million for a Vanity Fair interview. None of which has yet to be confirmed.

Go F`k yourself loser
Sure. Because I know a lot of left wing liberals who go out on the road and start taking a stand with The Birthers in their shows because his shows are mostly sponsored by Donald Trump.
Yes. Liberal Left Wingers are *just like that*
there is a ton of 'celebrities' that isn't likeable to me.....so why pick on'charlie'.....don't give a rat's patootie about his lifestyle.....

*OR* using correct English, apparently...
I agree. The show is dead. On it's way out now. That Sheen is replaced
Apparently, English is not your strong suit.
It's my grand kids lifestyle that I care about. They watch losers like sheen and think it's cool. Their parents and I have to work twice as hard with him acting this way, Gibson drunk driving and beating women up, and the list goes on.
Is Charlie so certifiable that he didn't KNOW that he flamed out on that show! There was no way they were going to take someone in his state, that cannot speak a sentence that makes sense, back! This goes much deeper than starring on a show and I doubt seriously if the network wanted to convey tacit approval of his issues, possible drug use, and/or behaviors! Go on you, network. Ashton can be kind of funny. Maybe I'll watch the show now. I didn't like Sheen when he wasn't crazy...or could it be that he has always been crazy and that's why I didn't like him????

Perhaps he will focus on what will be his greatest, most fulfilling project:healing himself.

You are absolutely correct. Charlie needs to seek help, for it is clear when one looks into his eyes, in photos, that no one rational is operating inside his mind. Like you, I wish him well, for to do less would be totally counterproductive to our intent to for him heal. Hopefully, self awareness returns sometime soon. It is hard to predict in delusional cases.
danw...wish he'd focus on me. He is hot and turns me on. I love "bad boys"...and I am no child (or hooker). No bragging, but am educated with professional career. I just believe that he is an interesting and hot guy. Far more intelligent than you fools CHOOSE to believe. Could you do what he does on the screen? I think not. Go figure.
And, you KNOW Charlie? None of us are the person that others believe. You can thank our crappy press and BIG ego-maniac Chuck Lorre (hypocrite) for this entire fiasco. You have NO idea what really happens in Charlie's life. Were you there with him? He is a showman and grew up in Hollyweird. I lived there and it is phony and will kill the very best of humans.
danw...you are a fool. And, you have no clue. Go sit in a quiet corner and THINK. Especially since you are an authority.
I hope that Ashton won't be playing Charlie but they'll make a new character for him. He is too young to play the Charlie character. I'm thinking make some waves by making him a younger half-brother. Charlie moves to Brazil with an unknown woman, leaves the woman he's engaged to, gives Alan the house, and this half-brother than "mommy dearest" never told them about shows up. I just hope it's not Kelso 2.0 though.

You got it right, I heard they will bring him in and make up a new character. Write out Charlie, like he moved somewhere. They just needed another main character to fill the bill. I love Ashton, he is a funny man, he will do well. I will be watching the show once he gets on it. I stopped watching the reruns because I literally can't stand to see Charlie on them after all the crap he has said. He is such a loser.
He is not playing Charlie's part.
I think they should make Charlie and invisible character like Vera, Norm's wife, on Cheers..He could be on vacation, or store, upstairs with a girl, on the beach, etc...
lets all say goodbye to two&half men it will never work without charlie

ONE MORE SHOW THAT I'LL NEVER WATCH AGAIN ! IT'LL NEVER SURVIVE !!
Wrong. It was the ensemble cast that made the show work. It was the total package that made that show good. Charlie Sheen was just one part of the package. Charlie blew a good thing by thinking he was irreplacable. But now we know that wasn't true. He's been replaced. They don't need another Charlie. They just need another strong central character. And that's what Ashton is. Sure, the show will lose a few die-hard Charlie Sheen fans, but it will gain even more Ashton Kutcher fans. The rest of us who just like the whole package of a show will remain and wish it well.
