"before sharing she spotlight with Tony Curtis in Beachhead."
There is an age old thing in journalism called proof reading. Spell check will not always work.
However, rest in peace Miss Murphy. I do remember the movie The Desperate Hours.

The article was written in the modern African American English style. Now, please apologize for the racist remark you made.
It must be really difficult being so perfect! I bet you never ever made a mistake.
Hi, Carol! There ought to be a hyphen in "age-old." "Proofreading" should be rendered as a solid word, not two.
That is NOT Jean Simmons!

An iconic beauty who has stayed in my heart since I first saw her on the screen in 1953. Condolences to her daughter who should know that her mother's heart and timeless beauty will stay the course of all time. Her performance in THE WILD ONE made Brando's performance stand out the way it did but it was her stillness and inherent warmth and humanity that made the film work. Thanks for a great performance my dear.

"Discovered" at a coffee shop? Thanks honey..for proving that ANYONE can act or get into movies, if they are easy on the eyes.
Those requirements, even today, haven't changed...ANYONE can act.
We ALL play multiple "roles" each day...
