YouTube sensation and 'Friday' singer Rebecca Black is in the news again thanks to a nasty pregnancy rumor that spread like wildfire over the weekend.However, the 13-year-old singer set the record straight on Twitter Sunday.
"I thought it was May 15th...not April Fools Day. I'm absolutely NOT pregnant," Black tweeted, putting to rest the unsettling rumors.
Just like the music video for her song 'Friday,' the pregnancy rumor went viral thanks to social media. The story caught people's attention on Twitter, just like so many of those celebrity death hoaxes that pop up every now and then.
According to E! Online, a CNN iReport picked up the bogus Black story, which was when then the rumor began to spiral out of control.

You're right, because 13 year olds never have sex or get pregnant.... Funny how she didn't make the statement, about not even having sex yet.
First, I can think of FAR worse songs than this. I don't really care for it but definetly not the worse. I can't believe the audacity of some people. This young girl is only 13 years old. I am sick of seeing hurtful post and can't even imagine the emotional impact on this girl. She maybe really a nice person for all we know. The media needs to leave her alone and if you don't have anything nice to say or can't give your opinion without saying hurtful things, I suggest keeping your mouth shut. At least her song isn't like other songs where we hear about thugging, sex, murder, rebellion, hating parents, drugs, and so on.
