Newly married Reese Witherspoon was spotted this weekend with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe--but it's not as scandalous as it sounds. The former spouses were reunited to watch their son, Deacon, play football in Brentwood, according to UsMagazine.com.

Witherspoon and Phillippe, who divorced in 2007, were also spotted together last year when they co-hosted Deacon's birthday party at the W hotel in Los Angeles.

The divorced couple seems to be on good terms. In fact, Phillippe told UsMagazine last year that he wished Witherspoon much happiness in her marriage to agent Jim Toth: "I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim," the 36-year-old actor said. "I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children."
