'Teach Me How to Dougie' Singer Montae Talbert Dead

Montae 'M Bone' Talbert of the 'Teach Me Hot to Dougie' famed group, Cali Swag District, has reportedly died, according to Radar Online.

Although authorities have yet to confirm the victim's name, it is believed that the young man fatally shot Sunday evening outside of an LA liquor store was, in fact, Talbert. A gun fight between to vehicles reportedly broke out before Talbert, 22, who was in one of the vehicles, was fatally wounded.

Speculation of Talbert's death was further substantiated when fellow Cali Swag District member, Smoove, tweeted, "Ma life changed drastically in the. Blink of an eye rip mbone."

The group catapulted into the spotlight when their 2010 club hit, 'Teach Me How to Dougie,' landed on the Billboard charts at number 28 and brought with it an equally contagious new dance -- Michelle Obama has even showed off her 'Dougie' moves.

I'm not saying he was a thug because he was in some rap group. I'm saying he was a thug because he was involved in a gun fight. I understand that this is a human life we're talking about, but he was seriously going down a path that was only going to lead him to the grave at a young age.

this is right from the report apple "one of the vehicles" means one that was involved if it was a random vehicle it would say he was in a vehicle not one of the vehicles.

Did you read the article? Here is exactly what it said: "A gun fight between to [obviously a typo for "two"]vehicles reportedly broke out before Talbert, 22, who was in one of the vehicles, was fatally wounded.

A gun fight broke out between the vehicle Mr. Talbert was in and another vehicle. If he wasn't a thug, he hung around with them.

First of all, Cali Swag ,thugs NOR gangbangers invented the "Dougie Dance". It was invented by old school rap artist Doug E. Fresh back in the 80's and Doug E. was never and is STILL not "gangster" and doesnt glorify violence. He's a party/gppd time rapper. Michelle Obama is older enough and knows enough about THE ENTIRE RAP CULTURE to distiguish between "glorifying a thug" and doing a nearly 30 year old dance. The song by these young gues was a tribute to how well doug E. danced. So PLEASE don't get it confused.

In all actuality they edited the original video. Probably the idiot that wrote this article. It's really a Beyonce song that is for getting kids more active and doing exercise. I know.. That probably angers you too.. They other unfortunate thing is the person who wrote this article didn't have all the facts. The young man was a victim (YES VICTIM) of a drive by shooting. Likely over a jealous ex boyfriend of the women in the car w/him.. But that's not as sensational as saying a young black rapper died in gun fight. He wasn't a gangster. He didn't make gangster rap and didn't have a gun.. He was just a kid trying to succeed and was killed. It's a tragedy, because a young person lost their life.. Period..

This is horrible. Montae Talbert should've been using his talent to be in a different place instead of being in the middle of gunfire. What a huge shame. So very young. I wish his family peace and understanding.
