Cali Swag District member Mante Talbert's murder may have been the result of a jealous vendetta. Although a statement from the rap group's rep following his death claimed he "was the victim of a random act of violence," a woman who claims to be his girlfriend says that a jealous neighbor could have been the perpetrator.

According to TMZ, the unnamed woman lived with Talbert, who also went by the stage name M-Bone, for over a year in his hometown of Inglewood, CA. Speaking to TMZ, she says that a man who lived in the same apartment complex was envious of Cali Swag's sudden success. She confirmed the website's previous report that the two were embroiled in a Twitter war and the neighbor threatened him with violence.
