Sarah Jessica Parker Dishes on Future 'Sex and the City' Projects

Could there be more 'Sex' in Sarah Jessica Parker's future? The actress talked about future 'Sex and the City' projects and whether or not there are any stories left to tell.

"I think it always comes down to story and what is the story people want to tell," Parker told MTV News about bringing the 'SATC' prequel 'The Carrie Diaries' to life while at the Cannes Film Festival.

"Obviously, I feel proprietary in the best possible way about that entire franchise as it were, but I think there are lots of talented storytellers and obviously lots of talented actors who might be a part of it," she continued.

"I think, like anything, you base your opinion on material and content, and I think that would be the only way for any of us to have an opinion," she said.

And what about another 'SATC' movie? Are there any stories left for Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha?

"I think there is perhaps one more small, important story to tell," Parker revealed. "Whether or not we choose to do that and when we choose to do that remains, obviously, the unknown, but it's nice to ponder."

Parker has previously commented on bringing the ladies back to the big screen, saying she'd love to work on another 'SATC' project -- just not right now.

"I'd definitely tell that [third] story, and I know Michael [Patrick King, the director] would do it right. But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know?" she said earlier this year.

Yeah, I can't quite place it. In the series, she could be a bit sexy at times, but was always very cute and quirky. Now, in the course of just 10 years, none of the above apply.

She should put on 10 lbs, go shoulder length with the hair and back to the fun spiral curls from season 1-3 or so.

The last movie SUCKED - a disgrace to what the series was all about. If they're not going to keep it in the tradition of the series, I don't want them to make any more.

Aw.... I watch my SATC DVD's over and over and I'd watch pretty much anything with SJP. She's an extremely talented actress that has the ability to draw the viewer in. She's certainly no flash in the pan like the majority of actresses out there.

As much as I loved Sex & the City, I would not like to see another movie. SATC2 was disappointing but it did kinda end showing us how things went for the ladies.....it finished the story and they should leave it at that.....
