'16 & Pregnant' Dad Arrested for Larceny, Forgery

Joshua Drummonds, one of the teenage fathers from MTV's '16 & Pregnant,' was arrested Monday in Monroe County, MI, reports TMZ.

Drummonds mother told police that over the past few months, her son stole 5 checks from her and wrote them out to himself. The criminal complaint alleges that Drummonds' forged checks totaled $270, with each one ranging from $30 to $100.

The teen dad faces 7 felony charges: 1 count of larceny, 5 counts of forgery and 1 count of violating probation.

If convicted, Drummonds faces up to 4 years behind bars for larceny and fourteen years for each forgery charge.

Drummonds' bail is currently set at $20,000.

I am not sure the purpose of the show. Was this a spinoff the concept of the book - a group of female teenagers made a deal to get pregnant and it follows their life up to the birth of the child or abortion?

I do not judge anyone at all because I do not walk in his or her shoes. I can say it is a big responsibility of being pregnant and mostly, be the one to raise the child alone. Society is rough on the mother and calling her names. It is a tough climb by yourself and lonely. It is not a joke or a whatever attitude and it’s a life that did not ask to be place in this

It is disturbing to hear about this and using a life as a chip.

Society has to change their attitudes, thinking, behaviors, and their interactions in a relationship with another.

I have no idea how to fix this and placing a band-aid over a gaping wound will not heal it.

I think its great they have a show that maybe teachers girls who want to have babies young that its hard and maybe you should rethink your decision. If people are taking it like they are saying its ok then its the same argument others have when telling their children about drugs, sex and drinking. Maybe if we don't mention it they won't do it. Wrong you have to talk to your kids about the things that will happened if they proceed in drinking, doing drugs or having sex. Don't you think it works better if they can see it for themselves and learn it that way instead of from the streets. We all have different opinions and thats ok its America and we are allowed to do that.

Aaaahhh skank tv. What blows my mind is on the only one I saw for 15 minutes the girl was using a Blackberry...but she couldn't figure out contraception????
