Ashton Kutcher took the stage at CBS's 2011 Upfront for the first time with his new castmates from 'Two and a Half Men.' Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones sauntered their way on stage to the show's theme song. "I got the best job in showbiz, and I'm excited," Kutcher told the audience. The former 'That 70s Show' star tweeted the first (unofficial) cast photo. with the caption, "first cast argument."
Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment, said the network couldn't be happier. No plot details, specifically who Kutcher will be playing, were revealed during the presentation.
"I can't wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented '2.5' team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers' homes," Kutcher said in a statement. "I can't replace Charlie Sheen but I'm going to work my a** off to entertain the hell out of people!"

Nothing against you ashton but Charlie sheen is two and a half men, just like redd fox was fred sanford and caroll o'conner and jaean stapleton was archie and edith etc............I just dont think the show will make it with out sheen.

Uhm, Charlie made 2.5 Men, 2.5 Men? What about the other actors?
Oh, by the way, the character THE LOSER played has been written OFF the show. Hahahahhaaaaaaaa! DUH! The audience, cast, network and advertisers are....WINNING!!
I agree.
Nothing against Ashton but this show is not going to make it.
Charlie Sheen made that show along with Joh Cryer, they were a
good match. I not even going to bother to watch it.
2.5 Men is much like Seinfeld. It is the whole cast that makes the show. Quite frankly, Charlie was behing Berta, Alan and the kid as far as being funny. I am ready for a fresh start without his character sleeping with every chick around.
wa wa wa waaaaaaaaaaaaa

Bring Ashton on...he will be great!! Funny, great energy, and easy on the eyes. Charlie Sheen had bad energy....was a bad role model...behaved badly and always rewarded...it was time for the hook!!!!

What a joke. Please tell us that CBS is punking us, because nobody could be so stupid as to hire Ashton.

Charlie Sheen ?????? WHO? Wasn't that the LOOSER that blew his mega-million dollar contract with drugs, booze and loose women?
Reply
Sheen didnt blow his contract he was liveing his life the way he wanted. no way in hell Ashton will ever amount to charlie sheens popularity on the show. Charlie sheen is still winning. espically when two and a half men goes down the tubes without him.
You forgot about his big fat mouth that got him in most of his trouble.
Enough with the constant tweeting. Obviously, Kutcher has too much time on his hands!

Good Luck Ashton....I will tune in...and I will even give the show time to find its new nitch...Don't make the mistakes Charlie made...Yes he was the horse that pulled the wagon...But then he thought he was the wagon too as well as the driver...His big head cost him big bucks ....Where is he now...

Wouldn't it have been better to have Jake's step dad get put out and have to live with JOhn Cryer & Jake in Charlie's house. Than you would have 2 guys who have both been married to the same woman, and she has to bring both her kids over to see her 2 ex husbands, still playing on the 2 and half men theme. And there would have been no need to bring in a new person.
