Camille Grammer Prepared to 'Fight Like Hell' for Kids

Camile Grammer won't go down without a fight. After news broke that her ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer, had filed for sole custody of the couple's two children, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star is ready to fire back.

"She will fight like hell to keep her children with her, being raised by her, exactly where the children wish to be," a friend of Grammer told PEOPLE.

Grammer's divorce from Kelsey was finalized earlier this year after 13 years of marriage. The 'Frasier' star moved to New York City last year to work on Broadway and married girlfriend Kayte Walsh in February.

"He abandoned his family and got married within months of separating from Camille, all of which speaks volumes about his parenting and his respect for his current children," the reality star's friend continued.

Grammer has two children, Mason, 9, and Jude, 6, with Kelsey. The custody filing allows Grammer to have the children for half of their summer and winter school vacations, but states the children would primarily live with Kelsey -- an idea Grammer finds absurd. The children currently live in Los Angeles with their mother.

"Camille looks forward to a full and complete professional evaluation," her friend said, "which she is more than confident will show her to be the more appropriate person to be primarily responsible for the custody of the children."

Meanwhile, Kelsey has remained mum on the custody battle. "The filing speaks for itself," a rep for the actor said.

A custody hearing has been set for June 27.

Kelsey has a nerve! It isn't enough he left his wife for this flight attendant, caused a huge scandal and now wants custody of his children w/ Camille. Good luck w/ that you big clod!!!

I would say it's a safe bet that it's ALL about paying child support for Kelsey. It's not very likely the oh-so-not-lovely new wife actually wants to be full time step-mother.

i think neither parent is suitable. camille is a head-case who thinks the world revolves around her. he is insane and can't seem to stay interested in one woman for long. however, for the sake of the children, to uproot them to live with their father is selfish and will do nothing more than cause more hostility. let the kids alone; let them live with their mother and keep their friends. right now, their stability is most important.

If Grammer's "scorned woman" ex-wife REALLY wants the brats to herself then let her have them...WITHOUT his child support! You can't have it BOTH ways! I hope HE has a couple of shyster lawyers backing him up...because we all know SHE does!!

1. Fugly Kelsey just doesn't want to pay child support obviously;
2. New flight attendant wife sure doesn't want his spoiled brats since she is trying to have one of her own so she will be able to get huge child support when they divorce;
3. Plastic ex-wife is going to hang on to those kids for dear life because she doesn't want to give up all the dough he has to pay her;
4. Neither of them would be or have been with him without his do-re-mi!

This is for Nicole, obviously another scorned woman. I just said what I did in a rhetorical sense; I know that both parents have to pay for the brat(s) in a divorce case. By the way, I am 6-3. The "little man" you suggest must be the wimp you're married to. Or, more likely, divorced from.
