Lindsay Will Be Fine If She Escapes LA, Says Dad

Lindsay Lohan needs to spend the next three years on her best behavior while on probation or she'll find herself back in jail, and while friends are essentially ironing her orange jumpsuit in preparation, her father Michael Lohan tells me his daughter can do it.

"If she gets out of LA, stays away from the wrong people and listens to Dina and me, yes, she will be fine," Michael says. "Then again, Dina can't put her or the other kids in the middle. Lindsay and our kids need both their parents in their lives."

Lindsay pleaded no contest in the theft of a necklace and abandoned her appeal in her DUI probation case. She was sentenced to three years' probation, ordered to stay away from the jeweler, as well as pay a fine and attend a program for shoplifters.

"We all hope she stays out of trouble but this girl seems to find it wherever she goes," a concerned friend of the star tells me. "All it will take is one silly mistake and she will end up in jail. Unfortunately, I'm not sure Lindsay is taking this very seriously. Let's face it, she has gotten away with everything so why would she suddenly change her behavior now?"

Lohan hasn't missed a day partying since her last "acting job" pretending to care in Court. She continues to think nothing is going to happen to her. She looks drunk in all her pics. The movie that hired her will rue the day. And her father is giving advice? Pleez.

Trouble, why would Lohan think there are consequences to her actions; it's not like she ever had to pay for her crimes.

Yes, Tanahy. Lindsay never had to pay for her crimes because she always returned the stolen/missing items. Like that expensive fur coat she took out of a NYC niteclubs coatroom which the owner found by seeing her wear in a published media photo. All those desinger clothes that went missing from the closet of this one homeowner in LA who was not home when one of her roommates had a party that Lindsay was a guest at. What about those missing expensive jewels from a photo shoot. And now the diamond/gold necklace, too.

How did she get in trouble to begin with? By listening to those to dysfunctional alcoholics to begin with.

Stop coddling her. She is a grown woman now, soon to be 25 yrs old. She doesn't need mommy and daddy; she needs to grow up.

Good heavens. At 25, she has no education, doesn't even own a home, doesn't study her craft of acting and when she did act, she was a child, she's dragged herself through the mud in front of entire nation. It's over, open your eyes Lohan!

I for one hope she pulls it together, shows these losers Dina and Michael that she doesn't need him, and gets a restraining (and gag!) order on them. Then we can read about them in the Enquirer in fifteen years crying because their moviestar daughter won't give them a red cent. And unlike other stories of this sort that have happened, we'll all know why she won't because their incessant need to throw themselves into the spotlight has shown us.

Listen to your parents, thats a good one, they have done nothing to help her. She doesn't care til something happens to her and she wants the easy way out. She continues to party and hang with the wrong people. Some time in jail to dry out might(I say that loosly)help her. Michael and Dina need to stay out of her life, but she won't toss Dina aide, thats her party girl.

Ask anyone who knows anything about recovery. Geographics do not work. Where ever she goes, there she is. Michael is such a dumb azz who knows nothing. Family members intervening in her life at this point need to get the hell out of her life, let her find herself, not the person they want to maintain her to be. Then she'll have a chance at sustained recovery and not until.

Escape! Did he excape his problem when serving time in prison for insurance fraud, theft, arson, false reports, DWI's and DUI"s etc. Your problems go with you. There is no "escaping" life, your actions and it's consequences.
