Though she spent the early part of the week in Chicago helping Oprah Winfrey celebrate the end of her talk show, Maria Shriver was back in Los Angeles Wednesday, PEOPLE reports. Shriver met two of her children, daughter Katherine, 21, and son Christopher, 13, for lunch at Taiko sushi restaurant in Brentwood."She looked relaxed but was a bit pre-occupied during lunch with phone calls and she barely touched her food," an eyewitness told PEOPLE. "She just seemed happy to spend time with her kids over lunch. Their conversation was calm and quiet. They were all smiling and seemed relaxed."
Once they were done eating lunch, Shriver drove Christopher back to school.
The former news reporter announced her separation from husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, earlier this week--just prior to news breaking that he'd fathered a child out of wedlock.

Maria should be as strong as her family-Kennedy family. She should go back to her husband-just like Hillary Clinton. Kennedy family members dies for us all. But they were strong to their end. Maria should not let FoxNews and other right wing media lie to her to abandon Arnold.

You've got to be kidding. The man waits ten years, finishes his stint as governor, and, then and only then does he confess. Alleged reports are that he was forced into the confession by the "other woman." Be that as it may, his "love" child was born 5 days after Maria gave birth to their fourth child. You don't think Maria has done enough over the years standing by her man with all his philandering?? How can you have a relationship, the best of all friendships, based on a pile of lies? How in the world could she ever trust him. Get real. Now she can really live her life.
I am glad to hear that Maria is lunching with her children. That is a good sign, and a good thing to do. 21 and 13 are still kids. Imho, she should not be taking call on her cell phone from anyone when is having with her kids. They should be her first, and only, concern.

I'm sure they are her first and only concern. Perhaps she was talking to her other children. Always give the benefit of the doubt.
No...this was SO SO upsetting to her that she had to get all dressed up and fly to Chicago and be on Oprah. Glad she got back and found time to spend with her kids.
He should shack up with Charlie Sheen!

Really! that is your advice to Shriver. Shriver should go back as a strong woman. Never listen to women like you. She is not that kind of woman to jump in with all men.

Maria stay strong.....there is a difference between sex and love. I doubt your husband ever loved her. Send her a doll of your hubby and record a message to the hag.......nsyncs bye bye and the famous phrase austalavista babe. And be mean go take the house from her the one bought with your money......i wouldnt even want the poor kid to stay with a b***h like her.....get custody of him........not his fault. Then you think *wrong*. I couldn't even imagine doing that to someone I love, the hurt would be devestating. When you love someone, *truly* love someone, it's not even an option......PERIOD. You do anything in the world to protect them and *not* hurt them. At least I do...........

Women are now rushing for divorce whenever they find their husbands cheating. What do they get from divorce-nothing other than punishing their children-separating them from their biological father. Children then get an abusive step-father. Arnold would like to stay with Maria. We know he made terrible mistake-but men are and will be like that. The truth is men love women. Please women try to understand us men. We are also humans.

Spoken like a man wanting to keep his money and his mistress. Women never stick with a cheating man!!!! They will give you sorrow and possibly HIV. Don't let them use the kids as an excuse. Any cheating by either spouse is a tragedy. Something drove him to have an affair or multiple affairs. Upon reflection of her picture above, maybe he got really tired of paying for all those cosmetic surgeries. When she smiles her face cracks.
