Vanessa Hudgens to Join 'Glee' Family?

A singing and dancing high school dramedy that deals with the pains of being an outsider? It looks like 'High School Musical' star, Vanessa Hudgens' resume has what it takes to make it to the top of the 'Glee' stack.

"I totally would," she told MTV regarding a bid to toss her name into the 'Glee' ring. "I'm all for musicals. I love what they're doing. But I'm very go-with-the-flow, so if it happens, awesome."

Hudgens has also lent her voice to the role of Mimi in Neil Patrick Harris' adaptation of the musical great, 'Rent.' Although we have a feeling that a potential 'Glee' role would be a little less stripper, Hudgens has proved that she's got what it takes to role with the William Mckinley High Gleeks.

But how would she fit in with the Lima, Ohio crowd? She could play the instantly popular transfer student who gives Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) a run for her money or the insanely talented 'Glee' club newbie who threatens to dethrone Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) as reigning 'Glee' club ringleader.

We'll leave the plot planning up to creator, Ryan Murphy, but either way we're game to see Hudgens back on the singing small screen.

Vanessa Hudgeons doesn't have near the voice Lea Michele has. I never thought she was that great of a singer/actress in the HSM movies.

Uh NO!! If Hudgens joins my friends and I are tuning out! She would spoil the whole concept of a show that was built on misfits and unknowns (yes Lea Michele is from Broadway but...)who wants some naked, stripping, high school musical throwback around to Ruin something that is perfect the way it is!! No. She can't sing, she can't act, and she's almost as annoying as Kristen Stewart. If they put her on there I will stop watching it. If she did a guest appearance, that would be slightly tolerable, but Glee is NOT High School Musical. Those movies sucked and were all saccharine idiocy.
