Source: Britney Spears to Perform Live at Billboard Music Awards

It's been a long time since Britney Spears performed live--but sources tell UsMagazine.com that the pop star will take the stage at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas this Sunday.

Spears is set to perform twice. She'll first join Rihanna on stage to perform hit song 'S&M' and then appear with Nicki Minaj for a remix of Spears' hit 'Till the World Ends.' It will be the first time ever Spears performs with Minaj.

"It's gonna be big," a source told UsMagazine about the planned performances. "People will definitely be talking about it the next day."

The 2011 Billboard Music Awards air Sunday night at 8:00pm ET on ABC.

Spears headlined last weekend's annual Wango Tango concert at the Staples Center--but didn't actually perform. Instead, she guest-hosted the event with Ryan Seacrest.

She doesnt perform "live", she lip-syncs at all of her concerts and appearances.

That was a poor performance for Britney and she has been out of control lip singing lately. One thing that bothers me even more is how she doesnt even seem into the performance. Her dance moves were restricted and kinda boring because she didnt seem into it. Look at her performances from around 2001, you'll see what were talking about...if you think that was a good show lol. I think people forget what Britney can to.

People are IDIOTS! Britney spears performed LIVE on her GMA performances AND in Vegas. People say that she cant sing or perform.. yet shes sold over 100+ MILLION albums and shes been #1 for OVER a decade... If she had no talent she wouldnt be the super star that she is. Then they call her fat LOL!!!! I just picked up my people magazine and if that is fat i must be morbidly obese. Her body is PERFECT! head to toe PERFECTION! And shes the sexiest woman in music. Beyonce.. fat, nappy head. Gaga.. Anorexic Tranny (bones arent sexy!), Katy Perry.. cute as a brunette but enough makeup to start a Mac store. Rihanna.. BIG head, rat face, nice body but from the neck up.. no thanks. Britney is HOTTTTT And sunday she will show the COWARDS just how perfect she is. THEN what will they talk about next?? Everything people have thrown at her shes killed it with PROOF. She doesnt respond to critics she just proves her wrong. Thats why I LOVE her!

i saw her perform in vegas recently. the show was fantastic, i thought she looked great. however, she didnt sing. also, people wouldnt call her fat if she didnt choose to wear such revealing clothing. i wouldnt call her fat, again, I thought she looked great... but she's definitely not skinny like she was pre-babies, and she chose to wear buttock-bearing leotards for each of her 3 sets. i enjoyed the show, i think she's a great performer, but still, she DID NOT SING LIVE, she LIP-SYNCHED and chose to show off her post-baby, thicker body in some scantily-clad costumes.

Spears has NEVER performed live in her life. She lip syncs all of her "performances". The only reason anyone goes to her concerts is to see how much skin she is showing & if there will be any "wardrobe malfunctions" all of which distracts people from seeing that she lip syncs. And that is also why she sells. When she's just talking into a microphone she holds it infront of her mouth, which is the typical of everyone who lip syncs. It's a habit. Watch her the next time she's talking into a hand held microphone & see for yourself.

Trust me Brit does not perform Live ever, not even in the studio. What you hear on her Cd's is not even her speaking voice let alone her singing voice. She uses auto-tune and digitizes everything she puts down on track and it's stomped on so heavily that it can never be duplicated in a truly "Live" atmosphere. So no, Brit has proven NOBODY wrong and if she ever tried to and actually attempted to do a real live performance people would be asking for their money back and her career would be over before she finished her song. As for wanting to see a wardrobe malfunction..Yuck, I've seen enough of those intentional flashes to know she'd be best to keep herself covered up for life. She has the Face of an Old Bitter Woman and the dumpy body to match..no thank you.
