High School Bullies Threw Lady Gaga in Trash Can

We knew her songwriting ammo had to come from somewhere and now
Lady Gaga is telling all in her forthcoming
MTV special 'Lady Gaga: Inside On The Outside.' Mother monster even reminisced about her own days of high school bullying -- and one event in particular that left her feeling like literal rubbish.
After meeting up with some high school friends at a local pizzeria, Gaga, then Stefani Germanotta, found herself helpless and at the hands of her adolescent bullies.
"The boys picked me up and threw me in the trash can on the street, on the corner of my block while all the other girls from the school were leaving and could see me in the trash."
The pop prodigy remembers fighting back the tears, not wanting her tormentors to see the way their bullying affected her.
"Everybody was laughing and I was even laughing. I had that nervous giggle ... I remember even one of the girls looking at me like 'are you about to cry? You're pathetic.' That's what it felt like, you're pathetic."
But the future queen of pop was too embarrassed to tell anyone, even her parents, about the incident.
"It didn't sink in with me how bullying affected me until later in my life. I knew that it affected me deeply but it wasn't until a little bit later that I realized how much it affect me and how much it was still very present."
But Gaga realized that it is with sharing her personal struggles with her fans and in turn hearing about their hardships that allowed her the cathartic experience she had been craving.
"I think it took me to get to know my fans and to see similar struggles in them to access that wound in myself," she explained.

I can feel her pain. Not big on her music but I understand about being bullied. I was bullied back in the 60s and it ended up with 5 guys taking me to a graveyard and raping me. I was 14. Never told anyone till now.

Trash can. Good place for her.

Personally, I think she's making it up. She's trying to relate to people who really lived harsh lives. She didn't struggle as a teen. She's fake.

Like steel, she was forged through fire!

That explains why her clothes always look like she just crawled out of the dumpster.

Looks like they just put a lezbot in her place.

Why do people think she is a man? GaGa has a great body and a butter face. No question that GaGa is all female, to bad she has the butter face.

Those trash-can-stuffing high school friends must HATE themselves right about now...not a huge Gaga fan but I like the way she speaks up against bullying...she seems to be using her fame for some good.

I have great respect for anyone (ex. Howard Stern, Lady Gaga, et al) who didn't let this torment tear them down as they were paving their way to fame and fortune. It's good to see people like them rise above the ashes and let those a**holes know that they didn't keep them down or ruin their dreams.
More power to them...you serve as role models for a segment of the population that needs healing.
Stay strong.

Sorry, but I don't get it. Nothing about this woman says talent. The only thing she has is good marketing. She doesn't even have a name. Lady Gaga? What the hell is that? I'm constantly amazed that this woman is famous....

Lady Gaga's talent will keep her around for a long tim.

IF TODAY'S YOUTH IS SUPPORTING LADY GAGA...THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A MOMENT. WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT THE FUTURE OF AMERICA. THIS IS AS SCARY AS AN EARTHQUAKE IN MY BOOK

Oh boo hoo hoo. Something like this happened to everyone at some time. We all lived through and have moved on. I guess Stefani, or GAGA or GOOGOO, whatever she decides to call herself, cant get over this one incedent in this adventure we call life.

Too bad Gaga got out of the trash. But maybe she didn't because since the event, everything she does is trashy.

Gosh, all you Gaga bashers. I am an older person who loves Gaga. She is open minded and promotes people to be themselves and to be proud of whom you are. She is a very talented lady who propelled herself to the top. I even went to her concert and loved it and dressed up like Gaga and had a blast as thousands other ladies at the concert did and got into it too!!

Even us oldies enjoy some new things. However, we seem to be among a few that don't believe in treating anyone like trash.
I'm against bullying, but this is one case where the bullies actulally did something good!

So bullying is OK when you say it is OK. That is called being a pick and choose bully, I guess.
thats where she really needs to be for all the time
