High School Bullies Threw Lady Gaga in Trash Can

We knew her songwriting ammo had to come from somewhere and now Lady Gaga is telling all in her forthcoming MTV special 'Lady Gaga: Inside On The Outside.' Mother monster even reminisced about her own days of high school bullying -- and one event in particular that left her feeling like literal rubbish.

After meeting up with some high school friends at a local pizzeria, Gaga, then Stefani Germanotta, found herself helpless and at the hands of her adolescent bullies.

"The boys picked me up and threw me in the trash can on the street, on the corner of my block while all the other girls from the school were leaving and could see me in the trash."

The pop prodigy remembers fighting back the tears, not wanting her tormentors to see the way their bullying affected her.

"Everybody was laughing and I was even laughing. I had that nervous giggle ... I remember even one of the girls looking at me like 'are you about to cry? You're pathetic.' That's what it felt like, you're pathetic."

But the future queen of pop was too embarrassed to tell anyone, even her parents, about the incident.

"It didn't sink in with me how bullying affected me until later in my life. I knew that it affected me deeply but it wasn't until a little bit later that I realized how much it affect me and how much it was still very present."

But Gaga realized that it is with sharing her personal struggles with her fans and in turn hearing about their hardships that allowed her the cathartic experience she had been craving.

"I think it took me to get to know my fans and to see similar struggles in them to access that wound in myself," she explained.

Have you noticed how celebrities all jump on whatever bandwagon is the "newest thing" of the minute? A while back, everyone was saying they'd been sexually molested as a child; now that bullying is the "IT" thing in the news - they're all jumping up to say "OH! I was bullied as a kid too!" How desperate are they to get 5 more minutes of fame? I can't wait to see what makes the news next, & how many of our celebrities have been "victims" of it roo!

I'm not really into that type of music, I'm a hard rock fan myself but nobody deserves to be bullied. She is now raking in the dough, living the high life and those immature idiots that dumped her in a trash can are probably asking, "Do you want fries with that"?

Nobody deserves to be bullied. Different strokes for different folks. Not everything Lady Ga Ga does is my cup of tea, but she is a human being. She also is a trained artist, and has worked to get to where she is. Also, when I saw her on American Idol, she was really good with the contestants. Some of her music is good, regardless of her live shows.

I guess I need to get off this subject.Last word. BULLIES ARE COWARDS.

Throwing her in the trash sounds like a pretty good start.

She was laughing when it happened? People who are truly being bullied (this year's buzz word, apparently) don't laugh about it. They are frightened, terrified, scared witless by it.

Lady (?) Gaga (what a stupid name) is just looking for publicity.

I find her unusual as well. She is definitely OUT THERE. But I can't help but respect the fact that the girl has guts. I think most of the haters hate her because they can't accept the fact that an underdog are more successful and live a more significant life than they do. Jealousy can be a b*#ch:)P lol

I don't see why everyone hates this story, it seems believable to me. Anyone want to know why she dresses the way she does, sings the songs she does? It's because she can. She just wants to be weird, that's understandable isn't it?

Sheepish internet folk making cracks at GaGa... why is this not surprising? She's obviously setting herself up for this, and guess what? I don't think she cares what anyone says now. If she did, she probably never would have mentioned the past, nor would she dress the way she does. Love it or hate it, she's telling you that she was born with tentacles and was hatched from some alien space egg, but people feed into it sooo much. You can say you don't care about her until you're blue in the face, but you're only making her more successful.

I can't relate to her, but I think it's pretty amazing that she can say whatever she wants now and even the people who hate her will care. That's probably all she wants. Peace. lol

I admire Lady Gaga for letting her fans know that they are not alone in having to deal with bullies! She is a beautiful person who has done so much good, the proceeds from her products go to charity! She is humble in interviews and you can tell she is just a great person inside! Her music videos are the most wild and entertaining videos I've ever seen...Blessings to you Lady Gaga!
