Jason Sudeikis has been tapped to host the 2011 MTV Movie Awards and the 'Saturday Night Live' funnyman laughs it up with 'Gossip Girl' star Leighton Meester in the first promo for the show.

Dropping in on Meester while at the dentist's office, Sudeikis offers 'The Roomate' nominee a hit of laughing gas for "an attitude adjustment." She obliges and the two embark in a laughing-turned-sobbing-turned-laughing fit.

"I'm sincerely flattered that the folks from the Mostly Teenage Viewers network have invited me to host this year, and I look forward to keeping the streak of flawless and critically lauded movie awards show hosting in 2011 alive," Sudeikis told MTV News of his new gig.
