Pink Angered Over Selena Gomez's Pastel Ponies

Selena Gomez is the one Disney starlet who's managed to stay out of the controversial spotlight but her latest music video shoot has another pop star seeing red.

Gomez was shooting the music video for her latest single, 'Love You Like a Love Song' yesterday alongside some not so natural co-stars -- pink tinted horses. But what girl wouldn't want a pink pony? Well, there's at least one chick who's speaking out about the equine issue.

"If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame," singer, Pink, tweeted yesterday.

Although we doubt Gomez's camp crossed any animal rights boundaries, we can see why Pink would be concerned when it came to the pastel ponies. But according to E! Online, as long as the horses are painted using nontoxic products and are allergy tested before application, the American Humane Society sees nothing wrong with giving the four-legged friends a makeover.

"Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions," Pink continued to tweet.

I guess Pink is jealous that she didn't think of it first! Also, people dye dogs and cats hair all the time. The horses look cute. I'm gonna do the same for our horse.

Pink is just mad that she didn't think of this first. She needs to just shut up and go on with her life.
Any time, any animal is used for movie, video, anything thing of this nature, the Human Society is always notified and told what they intend to do. It is always approved before any filming is done. Everyone needs to find something more important to worry about, like the feeding the homeless, saving out planet, who's running for President in 2012....get the idea. Pink needs to just shut up and go away. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!

Im not a huge fan of Pink but Im on her side on this one. Animals are not here for our amusement on a whim and dying or coloring animals is wrong just like dogs and cats. We have cgi so just color them digitally and stop screwing with the animals.

I don't care about the color of the horses. I care about how it was done and all that these horses had to go through to make sure they were done fully. The whole filming crew and stars should have to go through the same paint treatment. This is wrong to do.

Pink doesn't seem to rememeber when L.A. Reid painted his horse "Pink" pink. She is such a sell out and had no problem acting like a little ghetto girl riding Japanese bikes and acting hood. As soon as she flopped she became the "independent" woman she is now, strrictly out of failing with her first persona.

Ok guys, you're all being chilrdren. There might be animal torture around the world, but SO IS THIS! How would you like it if you were spray painted pink, and then they would say "Whatever. Worse stuff is going on." Selena Gomez needs to find something more original....and for future referance...stop singing. Pink has every reason to be mad.

Really? Selena Gomez didn't even know that they were painted until she saw them when she first came to the set. It was the designers who did that! And it was non toxic paint! Don't blame Selena for it.
