Sarah Palin Blasts 'Disgusting' Schwarzenegger Affair

One former governor is scolding another, as Sarah Palin took an opportunity to comment on the family values of her fellow Republican power player, Arnold Schwarzenegger, now embroiled in an infidelity scandal.

CNN reports that Palin (who has sparred with Schwarzegger in the past: via Twitter, he once mocked her claim of seeing Russia from Alaska) was candid during a cable TV interview when asked about the actor-turned-politician impregnating his housekeeper.

"I feel so bad for his children," she said. "It must be quite embarrassing for them....You know, it's an irresponsible and, really, a pretty disgusting thing that he did, pretty much denying that he had a child for ten years."

She added, "That's how I look at it. It speaks to his character. It's sad."

One of Schwarzenegger's children with his wife, their son Patrick, recently updated his @pschwarzenegger Twitter profile to read "Patrick Shriver."

Comic book and animation collaborators working on 'The Governator' seem to agree with Palin. Although Arnold Schwarzenegger raved about launching his upcoming project in an Entertainment Weekly cover story just last month, the whole endeavor is now kaput.

"In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics and Archie Comics have halted production," said a spokesman's statement (via RadarOnline), released Friday. The very premise of the series and comic book was that Schwarzenegger, as a cartoon superhero, leads a "double life" as both family man and crimefighter.

Since news broke that the 'Terminator' star fathered a son years ago with domestic staffer Mildred Baena, Maria Shriver has separated from her husband and allegedly enlisted a top Hollywood divorce attorney. And TMZ reports that she has been searching for a new condo for months.

This is the only time I've ver agreed with Sarah Palin and I'll probably never agree with her again. But she's hit te nail on the head here. Arnold is a louse.

I think the age-old adage is appropriate here. I would say to Ms. Palin: "He who is without sin should cast the first stone." I think she should have a "clean house" before pointing fingers at someone else.

While I agree that what he did was despicable, I find it rather laughable that Sarah Palin would hold herself up as a family values defender. Her family is certainly not above reproach. But regardless, this really isn't the business of anyone but that family. We should leave them be and let Maria handle this the way she feels is best. Dragging his name through the mud in a public "lynching" will hurt his kids and his wife more than it will him and they don't deserve that. Let them deal with him and let's all get back to the important issues of the day. Because as salacious as this gossip is, it really doesn't have even the slightest effect on the day to day lives of the average American. We've got real issues that need attention, and I'm sorry but the tawdry affairs of the Terminator isn't one of them.

Agree, however with Palin it is like to pot calling the kettle black, especially since she is a grandmother out of wedlock. Arnold is an egotistical fool, and Palins family needs some work too....

Maria, kick him to the curb. Sarah is right, take the money and run and be happy with someone else. That Sara's teenager had a child was better than being one of the 850,000 a year who throw theirs in the garbage.
