'Lost' star Evangeline Lilly has found herself a new role: Mommy. The actress, 31, gave birth to her first child, a baby boy.
The father is her boyfriend, Norman Kali, who was reportedly employed as a production assistant on the crew of the ABC hit series.
Lilly was previously in a relationship (2004-'09) with 'Lost' co-star Dominic Monaghan.
Details about the new baby are few, as the notoriously private TV star has not spoken to the press about her pregnancy or the birth.
It was only toward the end of her pregnancy that she was first spotted with a baby bump, as she was photographed running errands last month in a flowing maternity sundress near her Oahu, Hawaii, home.
Now that she's a mom, bedtime stories should be extra fun in Lilly's household, as she revealed in a late-night interview with Craig Ferguson last year that she was the proud author of a children's book: 'The Squickerwonkers.'

congrats to them but she has no right to be notoriously private she's not a legendary oscar winning actress like Eva Marie Siant Joanne Woodward Sophia Loren or Julia Roberts who have a right to keep most of their off screen life private. Evangeline is only a lowly tv Star. all that matters is her and her son are hatlhy

Has no right to privacy? The only people who have no right to privacy are criminals and politicians.
Really? What country do you live in? EVERYONE has the right to privacy with the exception of those in jail. Give Evangeline credit for not getting sucked into the high mighty life style. Perhaps she's not has famous as those you listed, but has been successful none-the-less. Her success will continue be it as an actress, writer, or director. Good for her, and congratulations, couldn't happen to a more beautiful woman.
I never said she has no right to privacy but if your gonna announce the birth of a child you usually announe the name in the birth announcement unless you haven't picked one or filled out the birth certificates yet. for example Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon didn't announce the names of their twins until 5 days later but Mariah's been in music longer than Ms Lilly has been an actress so taking long to chose names is understandable

She didn't announce it. Someone snapped a photo of her pregnant last month and they did it again this month. She has a right to privacy as much as anyone else. If all that matters is that the baby is happy and heathly then why would she need to give more details?
She doesn't owe you, me or anyone else an explanation about anything having to do with her child. Stop whining about her and go and learn the correct form of 'you're' to use.
I enjoyed your work on Lost. Good luck with your new addition to the family.

another out of wedlock baby. typical hollyweird immoral behavior.

Gosh Frank have you ever heard of Sarah Palin? She has this daughter who had a baby out of wedlock. Or Nitwit Grinwich? The master of family values all the while having a mistress on the side. You have to be pissed about those two. The "Hollyweirds" are actors and actresses. Their not pretending to set policies for our country. You've got to like a party like the Republicans, preach one thing, do another. Works well if you can get away with it. Before you start pointing fingers you might want look around at who's doing what.

I just love to here someone say her name. That is the most melodious and listener-friendly name I've ever heard. Someone should write a song about it, it would be a great lullaby.

Do they call them "bastard children" in Canada too?
