It looks like 'The Biggest Loser' might have found another new trainer. According to reports, tennis star Anna Kournikova will join the NBC fitness show next season.Kournikova will join new trainers Cara Castronuova and Brett Hoebel as the show undergoes major changes in the wake of Jillian Michaels' departure from the hit show, X17 Online reports. Michaels announced her decision to leave last year in order to focus on starting a family.
An official announcement regarding Kournikova's role on 'Biggest Loser' is expected after the show's season finale on Tuesday.
Kournikova, who recently put her $9.4 million Miami mansion on the market, is certainly no stranger in the fitness world. A tennis player all her life, she debuted at the U.S. Open when she was just 15 years old and was named ESPN's Hottest Female Athlete in 2002.

I think anna kournikova should really do something shes better at. I dont see her on a show to help people. She seems more like shes just so into herself and not anyone else. I think shes going to ruin the show. just my opinion.

What is she better at?
I don't like these athletes showing up on Biggest Loser. First Rulon and now maybe Anna? These people have the resources (financially at leat Anna does) and contacts who will work with them to lose the weight and get back in shapr "Loser" needs to keep with the average person who has nowhere else to turn. I'm also afraid that it will get too "celebrity" which would be a shame.

"...tennis star Anna Kournikova..."
When was she a tennis star?

she was never a star at tennis maybe shes a star at p-rno!
What a bunch of jealous hags. First of all she's rich and beautiful...whats to hate about that. Second of all, what is it with this kind of mentality we see that if you are not number 1 you're not a winner. Ana Kournakova may not have won major tennis championships but she was a top player throughout her career, often among the top ten or twenty players in the world. I'd say thats pretty successful. Sheez people...such haters!

She didn't win ANY championships--major or otherwise. A top player would have won at least one tournament.
Kournikova is the Russian word for Kardashian.
I also can't imagine what she can add to the show. Just because she keeps herself in shape doesn't mean she can be a trainer. I am so disappointed in The Biggest Loser for this selection. I realize that filling the shoes of Jillian is near impossible but celebrity is not going to fix it! Replace her w/ someone that has the intelligence and background of Jillian. Bad choice Biggest Loser! :(

Keith, why the hate? Go to Wikepidea and learn brother (you sissy?) At age 15, Kournikova reached the fourth round of the U.S. Open, and at age 16 she reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon. In 1999, she won two Grand Slam doubles titles with partner Martina Hingis. However, in 130 singles tournaments she reached the finals four times. What a hater. What a creep. What a loser.

It is truly fascinating how our society works. When talent runs thin- and it so quickly does, if it exists at all, we can capitalize by virtue of hype to even greater successes. As with Ms. Kournakova. Remind me again how many tennis tournaments she won? Oh, right. but damn, me thinky we can make money off her looks- right? I mean, seriously, Stephi Graff won oodles and- well, that rather horsey looking face got her nada... You see my point? Style trumps (pun intended) Substance every time.

Okay i will remind you again about her tournament record which I posted earlier.

Although thats not the same level of success as Graf achieved, its not too shabby. Graf received plenty of fame, fortune, and acolades for her successes. It just so happens that Kournikova was blessed with model looks. So why not make the most of it? Whats the problem, diplobrat? I fail to see your point. Sounds like a hater to me.
Yes, retard. You DO fail to see my point. I'll say this slowly. Style. Over. Substance - regardless of who the particular flavor of the month is. I am not hating on Ms. K. Just stating an observation in general. So- knee jerk, who's the actual hater here? Imbecile.
Jeez...what hateful and cowardly too. Brave with your insults behind the anonymity of the internet. Get some help, diplomat.

You've GOT to be kidding me. Did you see her on the show? She's stick thin and her glands in her face are EXTREMELY swollen. She is obviously suffering from an eating disorder and should not be on the show.

Don't like her at all, (kernovaka) should have given the job to a cerified trainer instead of someone who women don't relate to.
