Is MTV Trying to Cover Up a 'Jersey Shore' Brawl?

There have been reports that 'Jersey Shore' stars Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino got into quite a fight on Monday night in Italy, where the latest season is being film. However, MTV is playing down the alleged fight and the extent of the injuries.

E! Online is reporting that Ortiz-Magro and Sorrentino got into a brawl and 'The Situation' ended up getting the worst of it.

Reports state that Ortiz-Magro's hit Sorrentino on the head several times, and photos of Sorrentino on TMZ show the reality star sporting a wicked black eye and had red marks covering his face around his left eye.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Ortiz-Magro's right hand was seen in a bandage and when he removed it, cuts and bruises were visible on his fingers.

But MTV is downplaying the whole incident.

"Monday evening, Mike received medical attention after an accidental injury in the house. He was treated and is now at home with the rest of the cast," MTV said in a statement to E! News.

The fight between the two cast members reportedly started when Ortiz-Magro had a row with his on-again-off-again girlfriend Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola, who he seemingly reconnected with during the latest season.

Correction to the writer...learn how to write! QUITE not quiet a fight....

Ronnie Ortiz who isn't even Italian has a bad temper which will get him locked up some day if he's not careful.

Kids will be kids.
These kids are lucky, I wonder if they know that,, probably not.
They need to be in school, and saving their money. From what I have heard,and read, their not too bright. The snookie one is the worst, the girl thinks a tan is the best thing she can do for her looks, while shes very over weight. Snookie is a ignorant girl, it shows every time she opens her mouth.
Mike is the worst out of the boys, he and snookie would make a great couple, put them together, and they would not be able to add two and two. These two are good for making people remember their birth control.

Here we go again....would it REALLY be too much to ask for the "PROFESSIONAL" "journalists" at Popeater to actually run Spell Check and Grammar Check on their stories before printing. If you're not educated enough to know how to spell, and to know the difference between words like "quite" and "quiet" as you clearly don't know here, where you say
"quiet a fight" instead of the correct "QUITE a fight".
It would take you about 10 seconds to run spell check and grammar check (Grammar check would have caught this). You're supposed to be professionals and turning out a PROFESSIONAL product. This kind of things shows up all of the time in stories here.
