Kim Kardashian Is Engaged!

Sorry guys, Kim Kardashian is officially off the market. The reality star is engaged to New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries, she confirms to PEOPLE.

Humphries, 26, got down on bended knee May 18 at her Beverly Hills home, and proposed with rose petals on ground spelling out, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

"I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian, 30, said of the surprise proposal. She and Humphries have been dating for six months. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Humphries and Kardashian, who is now sporting a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond on her ring finger, celebrated with the rest of the Kardashian family after the proposal.

"Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," says Kardashian about the surprise engagement celebration. "Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!"

No wedding plans have been set, but we have a feeling we'll hear all about it soon.

This will be Kardashian's second marriage, actually. She and music producer Damon Thomas tied the knot in 2000 when she was 19, but it ended four years later. She went on to date singer Ray J (her sex tape co-star), football stars Reggie Bush and Miles Austin and model Gabriel Aubry. This is Humphries's first marriage.

I don't believe fast engagements and weddings last but I wish them the best. I think she my feel her clock is ticking with her sisters lives moving ahead. I hope it's all for the right reasons. Marriage should be forever.

I proposed to my wife a month after dating her and we were married 6 months later. we've been married 28 years now. I've known couples dating 7 years then divorced after 2 years. You never know.

PS:I met my husband in June we married in August and have been married for 50 years, so if it's right it's right.

You sound like a moron. Just like President Obama, Halle Berry and Derek Jeter, Kris is bi-racial with a Black father and a white mother. He is whatever he calls himself - when I looked at him I "wikied" him because he looked "mixed" to me. Just because he has fairer skin than Obama and Halle does not make him any whiter. Geez - however I do believe he is either a fame hog like or he needs a brain transplant for even considering marrying into the gawd awful family.
