Kim Kardashian Is Engaged!

Sorry guys, Kim Kardashian is officially off the market. The reality star is engaged to New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries, she confirms to PEOPLE.

Humphries, 26, got down on bended knee May 18 at her Beverly Hills home, and proposed with rose petals on ground spelling out, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

"I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian, 30, said of the surprise proposal. She and Humphries have been dating for six months. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Humphries and Kardashian, who is now sporting a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond on her ring finger, celebrated with the rest of the Kardashian family after the proposal.

"Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," says Kardashian about the surprise engagement celebration. "Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!"

No wedding plans have been set, but we have a feeling we'll hear all about it soon.

This will be Kardashian's second marriage, actually. She and music producer Damon Thomas tied the knot in 2000 when she was 19, but it ended four years later. She went on to date singer Ray J (her sex tape co-star), football stars Reggie Bush and Miles Austin and model Gabriel Aubry. This is Humphries's first marriage.

SHE'S not famous,nor are her sisters/mom, only in their dreams they are.it was their father who was famous, these stupid "reality" shows need to stop, to be put out of existence because, if they're gonna go around looking for people who's daily lives they'll follow in order to make big bucks,they may as well hire all 300 million of us!!!!!! no wonder the U.S. is having money woes!!! this shi* is just PART of the problem!

This engagement makes me sad. She has only dated him 6 months - you can barely get know someone in that time even if you spend 24/7 with them. They need to date longer enjoy being a couple without the trappings of marriage. With dating such a short time, she looks desperate to have a husband. She is a beautiful woman and does not need to be perceived that way. Kim please go slowly and work on having a great foundation of friendship which will lead to a great marriage.
