Chelsea Handler to Diddy: 'Get Away From Me'

And we thought picking beefs for publicity was so 1997. Apparently Chelsea Handler believes otherwise since, while promoting her latest book, 'Lies Chelsea Handler Told Me,' Handler revealed to Hamptons Magazine her disdain for the king of beefin', one Sean "Diddy" Combs.

"P. Diddy was the only one I was like, 'Get away from me.' He's so late all the time -- maybe he won't show up in the Hamptons until summer is over," Handler said.

It just seems wrong to go after Puff on his home turf! And, sorry Chelsea, but frankly, we think it's pretty unlikely Combs won't make it out East to the beaches this summer.

Combs seems to be the exception to Handler's liking for rappers.

We know the late-night host had a thing for 50 Cent (the pair briefly dated before his expensive presents started to creep her out) and she tells Hamptons she loves most other hip-hop stars.

"Rappers are great interviews because they just don't really care and they are willing to say anything," Handler says. "And I love that because that's kind of how I am. They all hit on me. I love Pharrell and thought he was really sweet. Nelly, too."

Sorry, Diddy. You're just not Chelsea's guy.

It's funny how this chick became famous. First she wrote a book about being used in every hole by strangers and then she wrote a book about being a fall down drunk. Those books made her famous. Only in America...

I don't know who this C.Handler is but I don't see why she can't speak her mind, did she say anything untrue?? If she pointed out that this Diddy person is late all the time then perhaps he should do something to correct that. I know some one who I swear will be late for their own funeral, and that is one thing that is SOO annoying, if you start things going and then they deside to grace you with their presence YOU are the one who feels bad that you didn't wait for them..I gave up those feelings many years ago, if they don't show TOO bad for them. I think it is very RUDE of the person to be late all the time, enough with the grand standing get a grip on your own self and stop wanting to be the center of attaction all the time, it gets old after a while.
