Popeater... Love your articles, but this time you really put you have made my stomach turn! Miley Cyrus?? Are you kidding? Hell yeah she was born MORE THAN A DECADE LATER and HAS NO IDEA how that movie effecting our generation(I was 12). By the time she turned 12 that part of the moral structure was LONG GONE and would have NEVER been a hit by the time she turned 12. Who cares what she thinks or tweets! I could say the same about Greta Garbo. Do I really know anything about how she effected that generation besides what I read and seeing a few of her movies? Keep it to our Generation and STOP with the babies and what they have to say!

While I'm no fan of Miley Cyrus, she has every right to say kind words about Jeff Conaway. It was very sweet of her to give condolences. You're very cruel to say she shouldn't be allowed to. Whether or not the celebrity knew Jeff personally, they should be given the chance to say a few kind words about him. That includes the youngest generation, and you have no right to say they can't.
OMG...I totally agree...who the hell is she to put her two cents in? REALLY? Guess what, no one is interested in her opinion
what a jerk you are! Jeff Conaway touched the lives of many generations and each generation has the right to express themselves.
I have to agree with you, about Miley Cyrus, my sister and I both thought what a joke, she probably had know idea who he is...
Sometimes it's not about how a film, etc., affects an entire generation but the individual watching. Grease (the movie) has been seen by millions on millions even after it's debut. How about Taxi? It's been in syndication for years. He's also been on Broadway with this, plus other television appearances, etc. Most of the attrocities in society are a result of our generation refusing to say no and stand by our morals and beliefs. Don't blame the moral fabric solely on the current generations - that would be a cop out, remember that?
It looks like Dr. Drew has given up his claim that Jeff had sepsis rather than an overdose.
I enjoyed Jeff's performances and hope he finds some peace now. None of us can know what he went through with his back problem and addictions. I can certainly sympathize, though, having had back problems myself.

There is a modern approach to beating addiction. People need to learn about it. I am from Jeff Conaway's generation. I recall quite clearly his bigger-than-life persona. My life had parallels to Conaway's life, but I got fed up with institutions that did not help me with my addiction. I finally came up with a solid plan of my own and it worked! I just released a new book on attaining sobriety. If you need to know more, just search for the book, "SOS Safely Obtaining Sobriety." I already know it is saving lives. Conaway was a popular icon with the biggest hair and smile. He will long be remembered for his energy and talent. I will always remember him well. RIP
While I never followed his career closely, I did enjoy his work on 'Grease' and in the series 'Taxi'. Condolences to his family, friends, and fans. Much too young.

Why would God bless a drug addict?
@mdennish
God forgives all sinners! On top of that, addiction is a disease. Read or shall I say understand the bible please.
God forgives those who repent and turn from their sin. Only He knows whether Jeff did before he died.
SO very sad.My heartfelt prayers to ALL Jeff's family and friends.Rest in peace now Jeff,thanks for the memories....

ADDICTION IS A CHOICE
NOT A DISEASE!
where is tony danza? did he say something about jeff conaway?

I hear you on Danza. Would be really good to hear the Taxi folks reminisce about Jeff. But I would also really like to hear from the Babylon 5 cast. Where's Michael O'Hare or Bruce Boxleitner or Jerry Doyle? I'd love to hear from Doyle in particular since their characters worked so closely together on B5.
