Court to Jennifer Lopez: First Husband's Home Video Can Be Released

Within days of wrapping her triumphant debut season as an 'American Idol' judge, Jennifer Lopez received bad news from a Los Angeles courtroom: Her first husband, Ojani Noa, has won a long legal battle now that he finally found a loophole allowing intimate home video of J.Lo to be released.

The footage, which may or may not contain nudity, was allegedly shot during the pop singer's short marriage to the former waiter. The two tied the knot in 1997 before splitting months later. Noa was J.Lo's first husband; she is currently raising young twins with third husband Marc Anthony.

Throughout the case, Lopez's legal team successfully blocked the video's release, citing a confidentiality agreement Noa reportedly signed when the couple divorced which would ban him from making such private material public.

However, J.Lo's ex has recently sold the video to his current girlfriend, who is already going forward with a scheme to release the footage via a distributor. On Friday, according to RadarOnline.com, a judge in the case has ruled that the plan is legal.

"Claudia Vazquez has been allowed to release the home videos of Ojani and Jennifer," says Ed Meyer, an executive producer involved in the project, which he says "will deal with JLo's rise to fame, and her marriage to Ojani....Claudia will be meeting with video distributors on Tuesday, and hopefully, a deal can be made very soon."

In the past several years, Lopez has taken Noa to court on mulitple occasions for his attempts to capitalize on their relationship: He has tried to write a book about her, and to produce a film about her, but those exploits were shot down by the superstar's legal team.

That is pretty disgusting. She hired him before in her resturant, so it seems she was trying to help him. He seems very bitter and vindictive and wants payback in more ways than one.

It pains me to say this....BUT.....WOMEN NEED TO SMARTEN-UP AND LEARN TO PROTECT THEMSELVES IN ALL WAYS AT ALL TIMES......since it's clear and obvious that no man can ever be trusted, once you dump him. Everyone is correct. Never trust anyone even if you LOVE them. A friend, a partner, sibling's, parent...Everyone. Greed is alway's at the forefront. I learned the hard way When I was 23. The relationship I was in for six years. Convinced me he was arrested and with a blood test they took. All this time learning about HIV in 89' I meet a guy at an Alcohal meeting that was positive and I learned a lot about it (HIV) and had sex with him and shared some time together. But, My head was still with my partner and what happened. I was really in LOVE with him and nothing could change that. If a person was Interested in me it disguest me the thought of another person touching me was not pleasing to me. I found that out. So, I went home to California. Going back to the Investigator 17yrs later I was re-united with Him it was Great He's alive we talked I left the past alone But let go forward..But, I was concerned about His Health. And, I Thanked God for taking care of Him. His response was Boo there you are, Baby I love. When I asked about His Health are you getting the help you need. Hepl for what His says You being HIV. He says I'm NOT positive. What do you mean Your Not..You told me that you were back when we 22...I LIED He said. Even after that we still got back together for 3yrs. And I looked at the situation for what It was. And I asked Myself due I still LOVE him. God, Yes! Till I die I do. My next Question was do you respected Him. NO, I don't and there was my answer. See when I was going to school I still did not know how to read. So He was my source of Information. From the age of 3 to 9 ever other day I was being Molested and Beatten By my Mom's Boyfiend. Though this thing's happened. I am no longer that person. I stand tall and proud Won A Hispanic Model Search Nation Wide and No-one Knew and Did the runway for 4yrs. Many vics of early abuse apparently go on to seek abuse in later life, even, as in your case, be unable to find sexual excitement without abuse, humiliation, degradation such as you seem to have craved. When the hormones abate, such vics do better -- but left with the dregs of their past. Keep a good attitude, it was NOT your doing and certainly not your fault.

Maybe J. Lo should take the millions she made on Idol and help Marc Anthony pay of his Multi-million dollar IRS tax debt. These people love the fame they receive in america, but apparently don't think they need to pay their "fair share"(Obama's words, not mine).

wow, this is really sad, as her husband at the time, you are suppose to protect your wife even after divorce, what happened in the bedroom stays in the bedroom and you made a promise GOD allmighty, and for him to take that and try to make money off of something that was between them makes me sick to my stomack, well, you can't live forever you will face GOD one day and you will have to answer for this, and any money he makes is nothing but dirty money, i would rather be poorand work hard for whatever money i have then be rich due to someone elses misery and sadeness..

It looks like the EX found a way around the confidentially agreement from their divorce, the agreement that had stood up in court. He SOLD the material to a third party (his current girlfriend). The court may be looking at the fact that the EX isn't "going to be enriched". Too bad they don't see it for what it is.

Won't it be funny when the new gf dumps him and keeps the money from the vid!

Let's all get real folks. This is America. America was built upon capitalizing on others fortunes or misfortunes. Ms. Lopez is no different and neither is most of the population. She is only able to thwart her ex's attempts because she has more money to wage legal warfare.
