Court to Jennifer Lopez: First Husband's Home Video Can Be Released

Within days of wrapping her triumphant debut season as an 'American Idol' judge,
Jennifer Lopez received bad news from a Los Angeles courtroom: Her first husband, Ojani Noa, has won a long legal battle now that he finally found a loophole allowing intimate home video of J.Lo to be released.
The footage, which may or may not contain nudity, was allegedly shot during the pop singer's short marriage to the former waiter. The two tied the knot in 1997 before splitting months later. Noa was J.Lo's first husband; she is currently raising young twins with third husband Marc Anthony.
Throughout the case, Lopez's legal team successfully blocked the video's release, citing a confidentiality agreement Noa reportedly signed when the couple divorced which would ban him from making such private material public.
However, J.Lo's ex has recently sold the video to his current girlfriend, who is already going forward with a scheme to release the footage via a distributor. On Friday, according to
RadarOnline.com, a judge in the case has ruled that the plan is legal.
"Claudia Vazquez has been allowed to release the home videos of Ojani and Jennifer," says Ed Meyer, an executive producer involved in the project, which he says "will deal with JLo's rise to fame, and her marriage to Ojani....Claudia will be meeting with video distributors on Tuesday, and hopefully, a deal can be made very soon."
In the past several years, Lopez has taken Noa to court on mulitple occasions for his attempts to capitalize on their relationship: He has tried to write a book about her, and to produce a film about her, but those exploits were shot down by the superstar's legal team.

When she first moved to Hollywood, Chelsea Handler made a tape that featured her standup routine and a few more intimate acts. The old video shows Chelsea telling jokes, then cuts to a bedroom scene where she appears to have sex with a British man. Her rep claims it was an old demo tape she made as a joke.

Hmm - partner takes advantage of their spouse after the divorce. And this is different exactly how from what women do to men everyday during a typical divorce?
And for you who don't agree, maybe you can explain what made McCartney's ex worth several hundred million dollars. Is that chirping crickets I hear? Thought so.

Its so sad that people like this will do anything to make a buck, even reveal private moments caught on video that were never meant to be shared with the world. J-Lo, I hope your legal team doesn't stop fighting! I blame the judge on this one.

Dear Lily,
Yes, a person who exploits such a relationship with his ex-wife is a L O S E R. But in THIS world, what really counts is if people will pay money to watch it; and, really, what harm does it do to her? Letting someone take home videos of you in a sexual way constitutes implicit consent for them to do what ever they want with it. This is just one more final little gold nugget in the good fortune that descended on that waiter when the celebrity descended into his world.

Someone should put a bullet in this punk.

What kind of man is this? Get a job and make your own money loser. Jennifer made a success of her life and you didn't. Get over it.

@KC, she is married now...whether happily or not we do not know. But...is the current husband the one who was MARRIED, just had a child and left his wife for JLO? What kind of man does that make him? And what could the first husband have on tape that is so damaging to her that she has spent in fortune in legal fees to keep from being released? The drama has caused more speculation than it's worth. Bottom line...who cares? It'll just a a little flash in the pan and over with if it does go public.

The first thought that came to my mind is that Ben Afleck made the right decision.
