The red-band trailer for the upcoming 'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' has arrived in all its dark and mysterious glory.The film, based on the book by Swedish author Steig Larsson, stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, has dubbed itself the "feel bad movie of Christmas."
The story follows investigative journalist (Craig) who enlists the help of troubled computer hacker (Mara) as they embark on solving a decades-old mystery surrounding the disappearance a of young girl.
'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' hits theaters in December. Watch the slightly NSFW trailer below.

If the movie stays true to the book, then it will be an excellent adventure. The Girl Who Played with Fire and...Hornet's Nest are even better.

I recently watched the triology on Netflix. They were excellent!! It was not necessary to make them over, the Swedish versions were made quite well....

They did the same thing with "Let the Right One In" known as "Let Me In" here in the States...The Swedish done original was fantastic and was in no way, shape or form replicated by the US version...Hollywood needs to stop remaking so many truly better foreign films, and even US movies...time to get some people in there with a real imagination and stop riding on the coattails of others!
In honor and respect for the ORIGINAL film series - I hope this tanks. Shame on them for trying to recreate a master piece and for not casting the ORIGINAL role of "Lisbeth Salander" with the only actress in the world who can play her (Noomi Rapace) Rapace is beyond brilliant!
If you haven't seen the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (3 film series) rent them. you'll be glad you did :-)

I thought that the book was boring. I found the characters to be unlikeable, and the ending was totally predictable.

I just recently read this book. It took a while to get going but I liked it a lot. I didn't think it was at all predictable & I read a LOT of books. Can't wait to read the others.

MR. Craig is a fine actor. Any flick he is staring in, is always a winner. This one will be a winner also.
