LeAnn Rimes on Bikini Photo: Those Are Abs, Not Bones

While enjoying her honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with new husband Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn Rimes Tweeted a photo of herself in a skimpy blue bikini--and ended up having to defend herself when some of her followers claimed she looked too thin.

"Those are called abs, not bones, love," Rimes Tweeted to a follower who said she looked "scary skinny."

"This is my body, and I can promise you I'm a healthy girl. I'm just lean. Thanks for your concern, but no need to be," she posted later.

The photo also showed the singer wearing an Ace bandage. "Wow, my head and my heel are killing me from slipping on a rock," she Tweeted earlier in the day. "Ouch. Needs to get better fast."

Rimes and Cibrian arrived in Mexico for their honeymoon a month after their wedding. Rimes and Cibrian weren't able to take an immediate honeymoon due to Rimes' work schedule but the country crooner told the magazine they were hoping to squeeze one in not long after the wedding.

"We have to go back to work right away. The next four to five weeks hopefully, we'll be able to take a honeymoon. That's the plan," she said at the time.

Sorry longtimefan, but I do believe she is the one who started this all by appearing on the cover of Fitness magazine :) Did you really believe everyone was gonna think she's in good health just because she says so ... don't think so :)

She looks disgustingly thin - no way are those abs! If they were, she would look like she had eaten! Another celebrity has joined the skinny brigade! Somebody PLEASE get the girl a burger!

Everyone looks better, with a little extra weight on them.
Too many woman think that the more skinny they get, the better they look. Its so not true.

She looks like a flat chested grade school little girl. There is NOTHING sexy about a bag of bones, as she has NO shape, her legs look like toothpicks, and a minus "A" bra makes her look 10 years old. A little meat would immensely improve this weirdos looks, as my wife stands 5'8" tall, weighs 147 pounds, and wears a size 8 dress, and when she is wearing her 4" heels which is most of the time, she is very stunning and sexy, and doesn't look SICK. She is not fat by any stretch of one's imagination, but certainly not anorexic like this twig looks.

I'm sorry guys, but really? What happened between her, her husband and their first spouses is their business. You can't help who you fall in love with, it's how you handle it that matters. And I don't see the first spouses splashing the issues all over the media. Maybe they were mature enough to handle it in private. Sensationalizing it wouldn't solve anything.
