LeAnn Rimes on Bikini Photo: Those Are Abs, Not Bones

While enjoying her honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with new husband Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn Rimes Tweeted a photo of herself in a skimpy blue bikini--and ended up having to defend herself when some of her followers claimed she looked too thin.

"Those are called abs, not bones, love," Rimes Tweeted to a follower who said she looked "scary skinny."

"This is my body, and I can promise you I'm a healthy girl. I'm just lean. Thanks for your concern, but no need to be," she posted later.

The photo also showed the singer wearing an Ace bandage. "Wow, my head and my heel are killing me from slipping on a rock," she Tweeted earlier in the day. "Ouch. Needs to get better fast."

Rimes and Cibrian arrived in Mexico for their honeymoon a month after their wedding. Rimes and Cibrian weren't able to take an immediate honeymoon due to Rimes' work schedule but the country crooner told the magazine they were hoping to squeeze one in not long after the wedding.

"We have to go back to work right away. The next four to five weeks hopefully, we'll be able to take a honeymoon. That's the plan," she said at the time.

I think she look just fine, she's a petite woman to begin with and that is a muscle on her side., if she was TOO thin, you would see her rib cage which u can barely see! So stop pickin on people and get a life...who are WE to judge others?

Those are not ABs, rather they are external obilques, a lateral muscle on the side of the stomach, Rimes looks fine and having fun on her honeymoon. Give her a break. One NEVER knows the inside of a marital duet so stop making judgments on her.

Americans are just used to seeing heavy people.

LeAnn looks the way God intended us all to look.

Just leave her alone. That's how most all of us looked back in the late '70s and '80s. It's just been recently that Americans have put on an excessive amount of weight. When I was a teenager, I believe I was a size 0 or 2. I was 5'4', 108-110 pounds. That was the norm. Seriously! Americans are FAT! I just remember that I looked just like that even as a young adult. I had ribs showing as well. I've been trying to lose 15 pounds for some time. Although I don't want to get back down to 110 again. I think 115 is perfect. All of us in our youth looked like that. Kids these days are overweight and it's a pretty odd sight to see. It seems weird to me when I see people getting on her case for being to light when that's what we all looked like years ago. Imagine so many people now being overweight, and getting on Rimes for being thin. It just seems odd to me. Look at the pictures of people back in the '70s & '80s and you'll see that I'm right. I just remember this picture of Stevie Nicks back in the '70s. She looked just like that, probably skinnier.

Look at her. Her arms are smooth. Her whole body is smooth. She does NOT have that caved in feature of druggies and/or anorexics. Her face isn't caved in. She is very lean.
Some of you people are nutso putting her body and her love life in the same boat. Many times there are relationships that are not meant to be and some that are. How do you know how other people truly feel inside? Let them be. Maybe it's time all of us look at our own lives and stop trying to destroy everyone else's. The world would be a much better place. I wish Leann and her husband the best.

If I were a friend or family member of hers, I would be concerned. Her looks have changed so dramatically and in such a short time that if I were close to her I'd be digging in to find out the reason behind it.

Just so everyone knows, years ago we all looked like this. It's just recently that Americans started to put on excessive weight. Go back to the '70s and '80s and look at pictures of the stars back then. Check out Stevie Nicks and others from that era. We all looked like this. I'm trying to lose about 15 pounds myself. LeAnn looks fine.
