Rapper Nelly Shoots Down Claims of Money Issues and Steroid Use

Nelly took to Twitter to shoot down claims that the rapper lost all his money on steroids, drugs and gambling.

Mediatakeout.com is reporting that the war of words between Nelly and a man named Slim started when the man, allegedly an ex-manager of the singer, reportedly booked Nelly to make an appearance at a basketball game but the 'Country Grammar' singer did not take to the news kindly.

Slim then took to Twitter, where he said Nelly needed the money as the rapper was broke because he spent his fortune on coke, steroids, Ashanti (the R&B singer and Nelly's rumored girlfriend), pills and gambling.

Slim also claimed that Nelly was just a few dollars away from having his house foreclosed.

However, Nelly then went on Twitter to blast all the claims. The rapper first said that Slim was not his ex-manager, rather a promoter he had worked with in the past.

Nelly went on to say that the drug and steroid claims were false, "don't nothing go in this body but fish, chicken, turkey, protein, ROZAY, ciroc remy and Budweiser!!"

Nelly also went on to say that as for the stories of having financial difficulty. "Ino some hoping that 4closure statement is tru but I'm sorry "EPIC FAIL""! anytime any1 n STL wanna match deeds or pinkslips HOLLA."
