See a Different Sarah Jessica Parker in 'I Don't Know How She Does It' (Video)

For those of you who think of Sarah Jessica Parker only as Carrie Bradshaw of 'Sex and the City,' you may be in for a surprise at her next outing.

Yes, she's played bimbos and airheads and sex-starved single women in a career that pretty much got off the ground with the TV series 'Square Pegs' (1982) and flourished through 'L.A Story' (1991) and 'Mars Attacks!' (1996).

But hey, Parker is also a mom and in her latest, 'I Don't Know How She Does It,' she plays Kate Reddy, a finance executive who is the breadwinner for her husband and two kids.

The film, based on the best-seller by Allison Pearson, co-stars Greg Kinnear, Pierce Brosnan, Kelsey Grammer, Olivia Munn and Seth Meyers and will open Sept. 16.

Can't wait to see! SJP is a marvelous actress and will stand the test of time. If a movie has Sarah in it, I'll watch it.

A HUGE fan of SJP! LOVE LOVE LOVE her - all the way from Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Footloose, to our years together where I swore she was living my life in SATC!!! I can't wait to see this movie because I think more women struggle with this but won't admit it.... xoxoxo

Go back to episode 1 of SATC and check out the floozy called Carrie Bradshaw. I really just don't get it! And then she somehow turns into a prissy dud a few years later LOL.

Sounds to me like another box office bomb. shes nothing more than a spoiled ugly fake, who pays her way through life, like her beard, i mean husband.

So Suzy are you saying that if you don't carry your child or children and actually give birth to them they are not yours? Does it make the two of you better to be critical of her appearance. We wonder why girls today are getting plastic surgery as young as 13 years old. Another example of bullying, just because you are an adult doesn't make it right. Why can't women just support one another, if you don't like the movie say that. I HIGHLY doubt that you know SJP personally so how can you speak of her character? Really Suiseanne paid her way through life? do your research she has been working since she is like a little kid, she has like 7 brothers and sisters and grew up dirt poor. She worked for the luxuries she has now - so stop hating because you just sound like a jealous ugly person!

First off, Matthew Broderick is not a murderer. He was in a car accident that resulted in the death of 2 woman many many years ago in Ireland. He went through an intersection and ended up on the right side of the road (which is the wrong side in Ireland) He was in the hosptial for several weeks as well with broken leg, ribs, collapsed lung. THe accident was investigated and he was found not driving recklessly, under the influence, etc. It was deemed an ACCIDENT. That is not murder.

Secondly, for all you glamourous people who post on here like you are all beauty queens, I suggest you post pics of yourself on here and give everyone the chance to critique them. I'm sure there will be plenty of criticism to go around.

You can say you don't care for an actress or actor and leave it at that. To pronounce moral and social acceptablility is ridiculous. Who cares if you think surrogacy is not "real" parenting or that you think this woman buys her way through life. It's none of our business what other people do in their lives. If you don't like her, don't pay your money to go see it. Simple.

I like her, but the movie in no way is like her real life, she has nannies to help her, plus she paid someone to actually carry her twins for her, and I honestly wouldn't doubt if she had somone carry them for her so she didn't get fat, i still wonder if they were her eggs, they never said.

You "wouldn't doubt" if she didn't carry her twin daughters because she didn't want to get fat? Strangely, my first thought EVERY TIME I read that someone needed to have another woman carry a child for them is perhaps she was physically unable to get pregnant. But hey, that's just me. And if they weren't her eggs, wouldn't that be proof to you that the reason she needed a surrogate was infertility? Jerk.
