Jeff Conaway's Family Demands Autopsy

In order to lay to rest not only the beloved Jeff Conaway but also rumors that "foul play" had any presence in
the 'Taxi' star's death, his family has insisted on an autopsy. Conaway's history of substance dependency had many assuming the 60-year-old actor's death was the result of an overdose.
"Jeff's sisters, Michelle and Carla wanted to have the autopsy done to rule out any foul play involving the death," a source told
Radar Online. "There is no evidence that there was, but they wanted to be certain."
Conaway's ex-fiancée, Vikki Spinoza, has also been the subject of some suspicion surrounding the actor's death -- Spinoza was banned from visiting Conaway in the hospital during his last days due to a restraining order put in place by his family. During their relationship, Conaway accused Spinoza of injecting him with painkillers at their LA home before intentionally igniting a police bust.
Conaway's sisters are hoping that the autopsy results, which could take up to six weeks to receive, helps them to put a cap on their grieving process.
"Jeff's sisters are aware of his long battle with prescription drugs, and they know that this was the contributing factor in Jeff's death, but at the same time they wanted to set their minds to rest."
Radar reports that Conaway's 'Taxi' co-stars, Tony Danza and Marilu Henner, are helping the family when it comes to the original T-Bird's funeral arrangements.

And your point is?? Unless you have condolences or something nice to say then STFU

This man was very a talented actor who threw it all away for drugs. I feel for his family but he did it to himself. Blame everyone but take no responsibility for your own actions seems to be the mantra these days. Whatever problem you have you are not unique and not all with your woes has given up and neither should you. If you have a drug or alcohol problem first look in a mirror, that is your enemy. Get help to fix yourself.
I liked Jeff and all but they are beating this story to death .
Rest On Peace buddy
Go back to counting your food stamps, idiot!!!
Who cares if you were ''first''? Are you that much of a loser you have nothing better to do?

God Bless you Jeff! As for Vicki, I blame her as much as his addicitions. She not only enabled him, she's an addict herself. He paid the bills, he kept her high, and she controlled him through giving him more drugs instead of getting him help.

excuses lady.. he did himself in!!!!
just like Heath,MJ,Anna.................
no such thang as"accidental over dose!!
So much for personal responsibility. Having dealt with many addicts in my life, you should know you cannot force anyone to get sober.
There are many couples addicted and abusing drugs and that's their pattern, mentality and lives-They destroy each other and those that love them.
How do you know what went on in their lives? For you to make that statement as factual is just ridiculous.
there was a restraining order against her and she was banned from seeing him at the hospital and they WEREN'T gonna do an autopsy until now.??? of course she's involved. she should be in jail right now. the police are such idiots.
Of course she killed him.
How can you blame one person's dependency on another? Yes, she may have been an addict herself, but he had a mind of his own. Only HE could decide whether or not to keep doing the drugs. Noone can MAKE you do it unless they tie you down and inject you against your will. I can understand the sisters's grief, and not wanting to believe he did it to himself, but sometimes we have to face that life isn't always the way we want it to be.
Unless there are ligature marks or something on his throat I don't know what can be proven-he's going to have a positive drug screen. Apparently he took too much dope and aspirated(took material into his lungs-he reportedly had pneumonia-sepsis) because he was so drowsy. He was a substance addict for years-sounds like the family is wanting some blood money or SOMEONE to blame besides Jeff for his death. He took the dope for years-he had opportunities to get clean that millions of addicts don't-he didn't learn.

I agree, but it is a disease, a disease caused by them and they have no one to blaim but themselves. Once an addicted, always addicted. It's a shame, but it takes a toll not only on them but their family also, a big one! I feel sorry for them, but they need to get clean and only they can do it, no one can do it for them. It is a horrible, horrible thing, just wrecks a family, we know!
wrong...if this sickening excuse for a girl did what the article said she did then she damn well better be checked out by authorities. there was a restraining order against her and she used to inject him and call the police on purpose...yeah, call me crazy but i'd expect she's involved somehow and at the very least there should be an investigation and autopsy done. anybody who thinks differently has an iq hovering around 70...on a good day.
He was a drug addict, he OD'd and died. His doing no one elses.
