Is 'Real Housewife' Ramona Singer Jealous of Bethenny Frankel?

They're no longer on the same Bravo show, but there's new drama between 'Real Housewives of NYC' cast member Ramona Singer and 'Bethenny Ever After' star Bethenny Frankel.

According to RadarOnline.com, Singer is upset that her own plan to build a successful business empire like Frankel hasn't worked as well as she hoped, and jealousy is starting to take over.

"Ramona has always been jealous of Bethenny and didn't even want her on the show at first," a source revealed to Radar.

Singer and Frankel appeared together on the first three seasons of 'The Real Housewives of NYC.' In 2010, Frankel left 'Real Housewives' to film her own spin-off show after a tumultuous 'Housewives' season resulted in the disintegration of her friendship with cast member Jill Zarin.

In the current season of 'Housewives,' Singer has found herself in the middle of some negative drama of her own, starting problems with several cast members.

"Ramona is trying to play the sympathy card and came up with a plan to spin her negative press by saying that she is the 'Bethenny' of this season," the source said.

It's reportedly not just the attention Frankel receives that has Singer upset. Sources claim she's jealous of the success of Frankel's Skinnygirl drink brand, and wants the same amount of success for her Ramona Pinot Grigio.

"Ramona has gone to the press to say that Bethenny exaggerated about the amount of money she made with the sale of her Skinnygirl brand because she is seething with jealousy over Bethenny's success," the source said.

Singer is reportedly trying to emulate Frankel's successful business model, and is desperately trying to gain the supportive fan base that helped Frankel rise to fame.

"Ramona thought that if she got in a fight with Jill she could be the Bethenny of this season and gain a ton of fans like Bethenny did and build her wine to be as successful as Bethenny's Skinnygirl brand," the source revealed.

Ramona seems to have more than just a drinking problem and an ego problem this season. She is way to far over the top. Of course 7 out of 10 of the women on these Housewives show are over the top. Whats amusing is they don't seem to know 80% of the people who watch are laughing AT them not with them. Pitiful but funny!

Your girl Ramona spoke on camera with PopEater's Rob Shuter and stated that "Bethenny always exagerates and that there is no way Bethenny got so much money for the Skinnygirl brand".

i would agree with you but they have a video on here where ramona says that bethenny lied about how much she made from selling her skinny girl drink, that sounds like jealousy to me. plus it's nobodies business unless she wants to tell the public of how much money she made on any of her deals, right?

Ramona is no Bethenny, now or ever, in any way. Ramona is the female version of a drunken jerk. She mouths off to everyone in a cruel way & never shuts up long enough to listen to anyone else. I don't think she is "good television" & often turn it off when the show seems to be featuring her. I suggest you limit her air time exposure.

I think I only watched 2 or 3 episodes this year. You guys do realize that they are "told" to make trouble and things are edited. Bravo does it on all their shows. In fact Bravo was named in a law suit due to RHONJ in the Dominican Republic fighting with a police officer(and he told them he was an officer) with Joe and Manzo boys. Reality TV at it's best huh? I liked Ramona in the beginning and when she was there for Bethenny when her dad died and had Bryn and went to her wedding. But something is out of whack. I watched an old episode the other day when she was talking to Avery about starting to think of her future because women need to have their own money and respect for themselves. She told her that's what her mother taught her before she died. It was so sweet.

I just think she is trying to do too much at one time. I still like Ramona, Alex, Cindy and Sonja. Really can't stand LuAnn dahhling and Kelly. So phoney.

There is only one Bethenny and it all worked out for her; I can't help but wonder if HWONY all of them are jealous of her success; it was something in the stars for Bethenny and everything just fell into place and I think now most of the housewives are giving it their shot to see if they can be like Bethenny. Ramona speaks before she thinks and her emotions are all over the place this season. Pinot is Pinot; Bethenny put a new spin on margaritas's this is why it is so successful.

I find Ramona very pitiful too. She and Alex are my least favorite of all the Housewives shows and what is up with those eyes? Scary and not attractive at all. Ramona had her 15 minutes on the island when Jill showed up and Alex drives me crazy. She is insipid looking and as she was talking about good genes and her modeling, my son walked in and asked the question, "does this woman own a mirror? I laughed and explained that she probably owned many. My next favorite scene with Alex was her sons surprise piano lesson, that boy was not happy but as Alex often does, she said he was thrilled - in what universe? These two characters need to be replaced, unattractive in appearance and demeanor. I am Team Brunettes all the way.
