Is 'Real Housewife' Ramona Singer Jealous of Bethenny Frankel?

They're no longer on the same Bravo show, but there's new drama between 'Real Housewives of NYC' cast member Ramona Singer and 'Bethenny Ever After' star Bethenny Frankel.

According to RadarOnline.com, Singer is upset that her own plan to build a successful business empire like Frankel hasn't worked as well as she hoped, and jealousy is starting to take over.

"Ramona has always been jealous of Bethenny and didn't even want her on the show at first," a source revealed to Radar.

Singer and Frankel appeared together on the first three seasons of 'The Real Housewives of NYC.' In 2010, Frankel left 'Real Housewives' to film her own spin-off show after a tumultuous 'Housewives' season resulted in the disintegration of her friendship with cast member Jill Zarin.

In the current season of 'Housewives,' Singer has found herself in the middle of some negative drama of her own, starting problems with several cast members.

"Ramona is trying to play the sympathy card and came up with a plan to spin her negative press by saying that she is the 'Bethenny' of this season," the source said.

It's reportedly not just the attention Frankel receives that has Singer upset. Sources claim she's jealous of the success of Frankel's Skinnygirl drink brand, and wants the same amount of success for her Ramona Pinot Grigio.

"Ramona has gone to the press to say that Bethenny exaggerated about the amount of money she made with the sale of her Skinnygirl brand because she is seething with jealousy over Bethenny's success," the source said.

Singer is reportedly trying to emulate Frankel's successful business model, and is desperately trying to gain the supportive fan base that helped Frankel rise to fame.

"Ramona thought that if she got in a fight with Jill she could be the Bethenny of this season and gain a ton of fans like Bethenny did and build her wine to be as successful as Bethenny's Skinnygirl brand," the source revealed.

I am appauled and mezmerized at the same time. I don't want to watch these women, but I do. They are so pedesterian with their feelings of entitlement andof self are prevelant. We are all flawed, however Andy Cohen is laughing all the way to the bank with his "Housewives" franchises, pure entertainment. The positives appear to be the children. Surely, women with such bad manners, large egos and selfishness would not be able to raise such beautifully mannered childern. All that you see cannot possibly be "reality".

Funny thing is, they are BOTH lushes! Ramona and her precious Pinot and Bethany and...well...any form of alcohol; they are both really hard to watch. They are both so unhappy with their lives (despite what they both say) that they resort to being public drunks and I think that is really sad.

Ramona is a wack job. And she'll never have the success that Bethany does. Bethany is sane. Ramona is insane. Ramona is mean. She demands constant attention. She's always demanding or drinking Pinot Grigio. She demanded that the staff at the resort in Morraco help her unpack. None of the other girls made such demands.

I feel bad for anyone who has a "Televised" meltdown.. I always liked Bethany the most on Housewives of NYC. I'm thrilled that she made it BIG on a lot of hard work alone from age 16. Everything fell into place for her and she deserves it all. What's so different between Bethany's success and Ramona with the "Pino" is Ramona didn't INVENT it. Bethany did with "Skinny Girl"! she'll never reach Bethany's level just putting her name on an existing product! Ramona's acting uppity without cause and seems to have some serious underlying issues! Jill might be right about her age bothering her, she cant have more kids etc..

So boring to have Jill as your "inside source" and jumping on Jill's bandwagon to try to ruin Ramona, the same as she tried to do to Bethenny. What a miserable, nasty piece of work Jill is.

i think Ramona has alot of problem. she is really bad this year. dont know whats going on but she is fighting with everyone. i like jill and i think they did jill wrong. ramona cant see that because she thinks she is right and everyone else is wrong.

It seems like Ramona has always been resentful of Bethenny and had some responsibility in the breakup of the Jill/Bethenny friendship. Didn't she ask Jill to leave the island before giving her the chance to resolve the fight? Wasn't there an episode when she was making Bethenny feel bad by refering to her as the underdog and saying that the only reason Jill was interested in Bethenny was because she was not a threat to Jill? Wasn't there also an episode where Bethenny was trying to give business advice to Ramona and she pretty much blew Bethenny off? Bethenny seems to be doing just fine without Jill or Ramona in her life and is probably laughing all the way to the bank!

Ramona is a Mess! Jill is trying to be much kinder, but still a phony. What's up with Alex? Now she is just like the rest.Sonyia is pathetic and Luann needs to return to the real world. Not one decent person among them- charities -yea right!T hey all need to go to church and spend the rest of their time on a couch in some shrinks office. Bethany & Jason Rule and so do his Mom and Dad baby and nanny. They can l;augh at themselves all the way to the bank.

I DO think Ramona, Jill, Kelly and Luann are very jealous of Bethanny and her fame..

I think Jill thought she could destroy Bethanny last year and instead, viewers backed Bethanny and let Jill see the nasty person she is... She hasn't changed either. Lets face it, Alex is the only one making or trying to make it on her own. the rest are living off the men in their lives.. God knows Luann is not making money on her singing..Darling you need to realize you are NO Countess, you are just a LPN from PA and daddy is paying your way, dame with Ramona, Sonja and KElly. all are get some kind of money from their x spouses or spouses.. Lets be honest not one of those women are making the money from success that they claim or act like they have.
