Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe Split

After seven months of their on-off relationship, Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe have called it quits, according to Us Weekly. A source told the mag that the split was mutual, and neither the 'Red Riding Hood' nor 'The Bang Bang Club' actor seem to be particularly broken up about their parting of ways.

"They were always seeing other people," the source told Us. "There's no bad blood. They're cool."

The pair first met at a Halloween party, hosted by Kate Hudson, last October before hitting their first relationship bump with a brief separation in February.

But could March reports that Phillippe was the father of ex-girlfriend, Alexis Knapp's forthcoming baby have been the news that confirmed the couple wasn't meant to be? Although Seyfried, 25, seemed to have stuck by Phillippe, 36, during the discovery, we can imagine that adding a child into the mix of a casual relationship might prove a bit challenging.

But Phillippe is already a seasoned pro in the daddy circuit, he was two children -- Ava and Deacon -- with ex-wife, Reese Witherspoon. Seyfried was previously linked to longtime boyfriend and 'Mamma Mia!' co-star, Dominic Cooper.

I think this girl is very unattractive and an unremarkable actress... am I the only one? I just don't see her appeal.

I think she's a very pretty girl and I like her in anything I've seen her in. However, he's a serial cheater and liar so....he's not someone that ANYONE should hook up with.

Who cares! If I worried about who was dating or breaking up with whom in Hollywood, it would drive a sane person nuts. A 7 mo. pairing does not a relationship make. If it wasn't for a couple of movies that they have been in, I wouldn't know who they were.
