Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar's Divorce Finalized

Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and his wife Lisa Ann Russell have finalized their divorce.

TMZ is reporting that a judge finalized the divorce last Friday. The couple separated in June 2010.

Gosselaar and Russell were married for 14 years and have two children together, Michael Charles, 7, and Ava, 5.

It is also reported that Gosselaar and Russell have worked out a private arrangement regarding custody and spousal support.

The couple first met when Russell guest-starred on 'Saved by the Bell: The College Years' and they got married on August 26, 1996.

More children with divorced parents in Hollywood! Go figure..Why do celebs even have kids?? Really... just to screw up their lives.

What a moronic statement, considering that over 50% of marriages even in Christian homes end in divorce. It's not the divorce that messes up the kids, it's the parents. One either abandons the kids or uses them a weapons against the other parent. This is not the 50's or 60's were divorce was some kind of taboo. Divorce is a fact of life that most people and children have learned to live with.

I wonder why they get married in the first place AND have kids. It's always sad to read about divorces. Marriage is a give and give, not many people are willing to put the other person first. I do see your point of screwed up kids in Hollywood. If parents are away working, traveling, dating, and do the party thing then the children will suffer. If the "star" is grounded so the children will be as well. ...that's rare.

Loren and others are far too accepting of the status quo. If the divorce statistics are appaling (and they are), instead of just shrugging our collective shoulders, let's figure out what can be done to reverse the trend. One thing we can do is try to reeducate the next generation about Judeo-Christian morality. Encouraging kids to do whatever brings them pleasure before marriage is not exactly the best preparation for monogamy after marriage.
