'In Plain Sight' Star Nichole Hiltz Arrested on Suspicion of Child Neglect

'In Plain Sight' actress Nichole Hiltz was arrested on suspicion of child neglect and her child was taken into protective custody.

TMZ is reporting that police initially responded to a call about a disturbance in Hiltz's apartment.

Once they looked into the situation, the officers made the decision to arrest the 32-year-old actress and place her child into protective custody.

Hiltz was taken to a nearby station where she was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor child neglect. She has since been released from custody.

Her lawyer is reported saying, "It was an unfortunate misunderstanding. No charges have been filed and absolutely no harm was done to the child."

Well better safe than sorry. With the record of neglect on the part of children's services it probably was a smart idea to remove the child vs letting him/her stay in the apartment and possibly getting hurt later on. Where was the baby daddy?
