Amy Winehouse Leaves Rehab After Just One Week

After just one week of treatment, Amy Winehouse has checked out of rehab, the
Associated Press reports. The singer was
seeking treatment in London.
Winehouse's rep, Chris Goodman said she was looking forward to touring Europe this summer and "raring to go." He also said the 27-year-old will continue her treatment at the Priory Clinic as an outpatient.
The Priory Clinic offers treatment for a variety of psychiatric problems in addition to drug and alcohol addiction. But her rep did not reveal why she was there.
Winehouse has a well-documented history of drug and alcohol abuse as well as self-destructive behavior since bursting into the limelight in 2007 with her Grammy-winning sophomore album 'Back to Black'.
The Sun reported that a bedraggled Winehouse was seen downing a miniature bottle of vodka in London last Thursday--just before checking into rehab.
An eyewitness recalled the troubled singer's condition. "She seemed out of it. She was stumbling about, slurring her words." The person continued, "I was shocked to see her buy vodka so early in the day, and even more shocked to see her knock it straight back."

you can take the pig out of the slop, but you can't take the slop out of the pig.

I've said to before, I'll say it again. Cut her hand off.

Very sad. No one can help. it will most likely be an early death. What she is doing, she most likely won't care anyhow.

I guess it`s too much, if anyone would wish her well instead of enjoying her downfall. Why do so many of you wish and enjoy her misery? She`s a flawed human being just like all of us.

SHE WAS A ONE HIT WOUNDER!! SHE CAN'T WRITE HER OWN SONGS

I can't blame her for bugging out of that place. It's so boring there, people talking at you all the time, and they won't let you guzzle vodka or anything else! Gotta get prepared for The Big World Tour, after all. Who needs rehab, she can certainly stop any time she wants, after all.

Go away you one hit wonder....

I'm SHOCKED!!!!!!!! Winehouse doesn't think she needs rehab? Yeah, like a tire doesn't need air.

We all know why she was there problem is she should have stayed longer than one week,,,she needs extensive long term therapy..

No, we really don't know why she was there, nor do I believe the "eye-witness". The woman is a talented artist and I love her music. Those of you who think she's not probably listen to Justin Bieber.

Ditto!

This is so sad...she is such a talented singer and would like to see more of her but she needs to clean up. I know how she feels and hope someone can convince her to seek help...my dad is an alcoholic and its say to see him go thru this

Amy, I've been down that road you are setting yourself up for a bigger fall or the final curtain. Remember whatever you put in front of your recovery is probably the first thing you will lose. Good luck to you, but leaving treatment never works, never.
