Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have finally reached an agreement when it comes to the custody of their two young twins, Bob and Max. The estranged pair took their revised deal, which states that they will share joint custody of their children, to an LA judge yesterday, according to TMZ.

Both Mueller and Sheen's attorneys went to Judge Hank Goldberg's chambers to inform him that the couple had reconsidered their custody stalemate. The new agreement will issue joint custody of the twins to both the ex-'Two and a Half Men' star and Mueller, who has been dealing with her substance abuse problem until recently.

Although each parent has yet to sign the deal, when in affect it will give joint legal and physical custody to both parents. Although, TMZ reports that the two-year-old boys will still be spending more time with mama Mueller than with their daddy. Sheen and Mueller will wait to sign the new documents until they are removed from the court -- documents that are not filed within the courthouse can be kept confidential. The move will also allow Sheen and Mueller to forgo their forthcoming court date.

Once and for all -- those kids are challenged. Stuff happens. It's tough all over. But, please! Stop referring to those kids as "poor."

ACtually, my reaction was, “finally some maturity from these two; not dragging it out in court”. The first sign of hope in this whole mess, from last Christmas on. He is nobody I would ever consider to father my child, and I see her simply as a gold digger.
Sharing custody and avoiding court could be a good sign; enough public drama!

Very sad. Those kids are doomed, we are seeing the beginning of their sad future lives... We haven't heard much about Chuckles lately, the 9 day wonder has faded away like every other news-hogging story. Is he still on his grand tour? Is he still winning? Haven't heard a peep!

Why do they always show the same picture of Charlie with the scowl on his face but show his ex with a great big smile? Woman are always right arn't they. Don't feel to sorry for the kids, they will make it.

I'm sure someone said the same thing about Martin Sheen's kids. Oops, wait, he IS Martin Sheen's kid. He's not making it too well now, is he? So please worry for these kids so they won't be the next generation of train wrecks.

It is amazing to me that any court would allow either of these parents to have custody of the twins. They need a stable environment and when both parents do drugs, the environmnet obviously is not stable.

What kids live in a stable environment these days? If you go by that philosophy then poor and inner city families would all be in jeopardy of losing their kids.

Does Charlie feel he's still "winning"? I feel sorry for the children, what terrible examples both their parents are. Usually bad parents are always hated by one, or more of their children, and usually one, or more of their children have a run in with the law. I hope these kids turn out OK in the long run.
