Oh, Baby! Ramona Singer Has Surprise at End of 'RHONY' Season

You've probably noticed that the ladies of 'Real Housewives of New York' have been pulling out all the stops this season in the drama department, but no one is more determined to soak up the spotlight than Ramona Singer, who rolls out a big, weird surprise in next month's finale.

"Ramona sees herself as the next Bethenny," a Bravo insider tells me. "She insisted that in almost every scene she appeared promoting her own wine [Ramona Pinot Grigio], however that backfired when the producers showed her drinking so much it led many to wonder if she has a problem."

But the 54-year-old Ramona is saving her biggest attention-grabbing moment for last during the season finale, which I'm told airs July 25, when she'll appear convinced she's with child and takes a pregnancy test under the watchful eye of friend Sonja Morgan.

A chatty member of the Housewife family confirmed the twist, which was alluded to in a promotional video where she's asked "Can you pee on a stick and keep it a secret?"

That split-second moment had commenters on TVontheRocks.com buzzing back when it was released in March, but nothing has come of it until now.

"It's so pathetic. LuAnn is singing a duet with a superstar performer and Ramona decides to announce she might be having a baby," my insider says. "She's 54 and thinks she's pregnant."

Cracks my source, "I mean, what will she do next, announce she's bisexual?"

The ladies have been turning heads this season filming in Morocco even having a fortune-teller predict that Ramona's husband, Mario, is having an affair. Let's hope her baby is his! Wink

Ummm - need to give the public some credit - no one believes Ramona could be pregnant at her age. Does she really think she looks that young? Not saying she is old and ugly but give me a break.

Gosh, I thought it was just me but LuAnn can't sing for s**t. And to do a duet with a superstar, glad I stopped watching. That recording guy in the studio is playing LuAnn for her money. If Ramona was pregnant, it would be scary. And I don't think Mario cheats on her because they seem like a very happy family and he goes to all her charity events, etc.. LuAnn sing???? I can't stop laughing....

For some reason they all think they can sing. LuAnn, Kim, Danielle, even Simon jumped on the bandwagon. I swear that guy is gay. He was very disappointed when he couldn't speak at the Gay Pride event. Not that I care, but I think the only reason he married Alex was so he could immigrate to this country. I just wonder what she got out of the deal?

I understand how product placement can help sell products, but Ramona is pitching her jewelry & wine like a "as seen on TV" ad. Bethenny was shown actually working to promote her "Skinny Girl" line a few times, not demanding a margarita or fat gram count in every scene. Poor Ramona, if she would just listen and think before speaking her life would be so much better.

And what about Teresa with her Skinny Italian cookbook? A recent episode actually showed her doing a photo shoot for the book. It seems the shows have turned into one giant infomercial.

Please, don't forget Gretchen and her handbags and make up. Alexis and her overpriced, ugly dresses. I'm sure I'm forgetting more. They all want to be Bethany, but no one wiill follow her success. She is smart, she offered a product that was needed- a low cal margarita. Who doesn't love that :)

Ah folks, Ramona can still get pregnant at 54, it's not a good idea for various health reasons, her's and a fetus, but it's possible. The biggest issue for Ramona would be giving up her Pinot.

a friend of mine was at a Ramona promo appearance LAST NIGHT. The pic she posted shows that she is definitely not pregnant.

I agree with mem, Bethenny worked her tail off and Ramona has used the show as more of a promo than ever. Ramona admits she often talks before thinking, and although it's an honest admission, she's really done a number with that this season! True, more women are having babies at much older ages now than ever, but with the amount of drinking Bravo leads us into viewing, I hope for the sake of both, she's not pregnant. It's probably a Bravo drama hype. Ramona and Jill are toxic...it's just kinda sad.

I am wondering why anyone thinks the source is Jill? Ramona is dying for attention.. she probably leaked it herself. It's been known to happen. I personally think she is just gone over the edge.
