Oh, Baby! Ramona Singer Has Surprise at End of 'RHONY' Season

You've probably noticed that the ladies of 'Real Housewives of New York' have been pulling out all the stops this season in the drama department, but no one is more determined to soak up the spotlight than Ramona Singer, who rolls out a big, weird surprise in next month's finale.

"Ramona sees herself as the next Bethenny," a Bravo insider tells me. "She insisted that in almost every scene she appeared promoting her own wine [Ramona Pinot Grigio], however that backfired when the producers showed her drinking so much it led many to wonder if she has a problem."

But the 54-year-old Ramona is saving her biggest attention-grabbing moment for last during the season finale, which I'm told airs July 25, when she'll appear convinced she's with child and takes a pregnancy test under the watchful eye of friend Sonja Morgan.

A chatty member of the Housewife family confirmed the twist, which was alluded to in a promotional video where she's asked "Can you pee on a stick and keep it a secret?"

That split-second moment had commenters on TVontheRocks.com buzzing back when it was released in March, but nothing has come of it until now.

"It's so pathetic. LuAnn is singing a duet with a superstar performer and Ramona decides to announce she might be having a baby," my insider says. "She's 54 and thinks she's pregnant."

Cracks my source, "I mean, what will she do next, announce she's bisexual?"

The ladies have been turning heads this season filming in Morocco even having a fortune-teller predict that Ramona's husband, Mario, is having an affair. Let's hope her baby is his! Wink

FYI, not everyone is in menopause and unable to conceive at 54. Have you never heard of "change of life" babies? I didn't have a hint of menopause symptoms until well past 50, and pregnant at 55, so....chew on that, baby.

i agree meno pause , the drinks definitely have gone to her head , any person whom on here thinks its okm to have a baby aged 54 is nuts more chance risking having a special needs child , i already have a daughter with autism and love her with all my heart but would not wish that or risk that for anyone,.mm

I know very few women who are still having a period at 50, let alone, 54. I don't believe for a moment that she's "never late" at 54. She's tried everything to grab as much attention as possible. Her and goofy Sonya can't leave their daughers for a day to attend the taping of a Video but they can take off for weeks at a time to Morocco or attend parties day and night. I know aging is especially hard for shallow women but I'm so tired of the inappropriate behavior, dress & style (for lack of a better word). There is nothing real about most of these woman and none of them are housewives. I'm ready for their 15 minutes of fame and endless self promotion to expire.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. I prefer to withhold name-calling, so will only say most, if not all of these women need serious psychological help or at the very least image counseling. Toxic as hell...

RamonA was juat on a Housewives "aftershow" and clearly was not pregnant so let's just cut the crap.

JJP - I didn't show until I was 6 months pregnant. Just because she doesn't look pregnant doesn't mean that she's not pregnant. Although as hard as she's worked to keep her body looking good I can't imagine why she would want to be pregnant now.

it is called menopause lady...are u that stupid?

I believe that Ramona and a few others this season are in "Menopause" and are getting "loonier" by the second. Get them on some anti-depressants and send in Project Runways Tim Gunn, to show these women "How to dress appropriately when you reach Middle Age". Talk about tacky. They give a whole new meaning to the word.
