Shia LaBeouf: Megan Fox 'Awkward' About her Hotness

Although Megan Fox seems more than comfortable to us, posing and pouting on the red carpet, according to former 'Transformers' co-star, Shia LaBeouf, she always felt awkward about her own sex appeal on set.

"Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment [stuff] that made her feel awkward about her involvement with [Director] Michael [Bay], who some people think is a very lascivious filmmaker, the way he films women," LaBeouf told the Los Angeles Times. "I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it."

But Fox wasn't given the chance to become comfortable with her 'Transformers' sex symbol status, she was replaced by supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the latest installation of the super robot blockbuster.

"This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America," LaBeouf continued on Fox. "And she had a hard time accepting it ... And the one thing Mike lacks is tact. There's no time for 'I would like you to just arch your back 70 degrees.'"

But according LaBeouf, Huntington-Whitely has what it takes to let her sexuality scream and sizzle on-screen.

"Rosie comes with this Victoria's Secret background, and she's comfortable with it, so she can get down with Mike's way of working and it makes the whole set vibe very different," he said.

I would say I'm team Megan. Sure the director was trying to "sex her up" for the boys, but she did bring a degree of toughness to the roll which made it barable for the women watching. I've seen the previews for Dark of the Moon and am already sick of the screaming "fishy-face" the new girl makes through all of the scenes they have shown of her.

Whatever Shai. I think tht is a bit over anylizing. I think you are saying she is just a big tease. We all know that already. That said...both girls are hot and most of us guys would do them in a heartbeat on their ugly days. Hot Hollywood gals...nothing new there.

Team Megan. Megan Fox was great in the movies and she will be missed in the new addition. She help make the movies as good as they were and no one will be able to replace her. That is the problem when you have series of movies and they change the key stars. The new ones hardly ever do justice to the movie or the character. Sorry to everyone who thinks different but Megan Fox was and is the girl that made the movie and no one can replace her.
