Oscar winner Russell Crowe flew to England this week to share his wisdom about acting with a thrilled group of students at Durham University. The 'Robin Hood' star, 47, was all smiles while posing for photos with his new protegees. Crowe told the BBC, "We did a little vocal warm up, then I took them outside to do an exercise in leadership and using the space around you." He called Durham "gorgeous," adding, "I'll be bringing the wife back."
The actor-turned-educator raved about the students on Twitter after the master class: "Brilliant day at Durham University. Many thanks." Calling the experience "a privilege," he added, "Great group of kids, funny, smart, brave, I really enjoyed myself."
Crowe's visit was facilitated by a longtime friend, U.S. journalist and author Bill Bryson, who has been the school's chancellor since 2005. Fulfilling an old promise to Bryson to visit the campus as a guest mentor, Crowe went public last month with a tweet announcing his plans to teach.

nd Children and provides for His family, physically, and seeks to give and show them Love daily! I think He is a incredibe Man, but more than just Actor, or even a Man, but God's Imperfect Human Being! That makes Him part and parcel with All Mankind; by the way This includes You and I, Male or Female! How many of Us would like Our faults or failures to be flaunted openly? DailI love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agegapsin gles.c'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends.. Just love it
I hope Crowe's lesson plan didn't include how to properly throw a temper tantrum or just plain throw things.

Just proves the old adage "Those who can't do, teach."

Perhaps you missed his performance in "A Beautiful Mind". Or perhaps, "Gladiator"? Mr. Crowe is one of this generations most talented Actors. And this from a professional in the field with 20+ years of experience working with kids. I envy those fortunate youngsters. It is what I endeavor to teach (i.e. my experience in the real world of the Arts) each and every day.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion diplobrat. I simply don't find Russell Crowe to be a particulary talented actor nor an especially good role model for young people.
Oh, by the way, I am a teacher also thus am quite familiar with the joys of awakening young minds.

Why Are We so critical about People that are doing more and better things and or different thing's in their life than We are in Ours? Are We not taught We are Our Brother's Keeper? We do have a impact on other lives, either for the good or bad! Which One of Us has been successful in this life without ever having a failure or making a mistake, or sometimes simply being Human?
We should realize each Human Being has something to offer Us either directly or indirectly! We should be Adult enough to know the (Quality verses some bits and pieces) that really bring No conclusion to enable Us to be a better Person, or simply challenge Ourselves to bring something that is worth while to Our lives or the lives of Other's. Why Are We So Unforgiving to one another? How many times does Russell Crowe have to Say He was Sorry for for his temper? Or the manner in which He handled the situtation, in trying to call home to His beautiful Wife and Children? Have We ever lost it in a situtation that had the upmost importance in Our lives? We don't know personally what may have been going on at that time in Russell's Life? Before We find fault with One another, lets pull the Log out of Our Own Eye, before We attempt to pull the Splinter out of Someone else's Eye.
Does it make Us feel better about Ourselves to always find fault against someone else? Or should We think Just maybe, if We were abreast to all of what was going on, We may could have reacted in the same way or worse?
He is keeping a Promise, Russell Crowe is a incredible Actor, I don't know all about Him personally. I believe He has even greater talent that has not even been tapped into! For You than can not stop thinking about this incident, if it makes You feel any better, the Publicity stopped the Movie from being A huge Movie! Remember Our Words can either Help or Hurt One Another! We need to all be Careful what We say and do!
He appears to truly Love His Wife and Children and provides for His family, physically, and seeks to give and show them Love daily! I think He is a incredibe Man, but more than just Actor, or even a Man, but God's Imperfect Human Being! That makes Him part and parcel with All Mankind; by the way This includes You and I, Male or Female! How many of Us would like Our faults or failures to be flaunted openly? Daily?
Just something to truly think about! Would not this World be a better place if We as Human's didn't think We have the ability to set Ourselves above Another?
Thank You, for taking Your time to read, and please think about these things for You see, I have!
Have a Beautiful Day and a Blessed Life!
