'Jersey Shore' in Italy Gets Premiere Date

Can you believe the fourth season of 'Jersey Shore' is already about to wrap production?

MTV has just announced that the season 4 premiere episode of 'Shore' will air in a matter of weeks: Aug. 4 (10 p.m., ET).

This spring, the Situation, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and the rest of the East-coast-based ensemble were busy not blending in over in Florence, Italy, as they exported their partying ways and distinctive fashions to Europe. The cast's Italian escapades included a recent fender bender between Snooki and a local cop, after which the petite reality star was photographed wearing a neck brace.

As production on the new season comes to a close, the 'Jersey Shore' stars are due back in the U.S. this month.

You'd think they'd be given a chance to get over jet lag before 'Shore' production resumes, but a break is unlikely. Wasting no time, MTV has reportedly scheduled the stars to shoot season 5 right away -- in good ol' Seaside Heights, NJ -- well before the Italy season even airs.

However, TMZ points out a big problem: Many stars on the show allegedly booked lucrative personal appearances to rake in extra cash over the summer, and were kept in the dark about executives' demands to start work again so soon after flying back from Italy, without the long break that they apparently expected between shoots.

Red carpet chatter at the MTV Movie Awards this weekend will surely include talk of 'Jersey Shore' and what's next for the cast. Keep your eye on PopEater for updates during the awards.

This girl Snooki is a sharp as a marble. She is a talentless waste of skin. Much like her cast mates. I don't know about the rest of you, but to pay for television and then be fed this kind of "reality" it's no wonder the world is on the edge of destruction!
