Piers Morgan and Wife Expecting a Baby

CNN star Piers Morgan has news. The British host and his wife, fellow journalist Celia Walden, are expecting a baby. It will be the couple's first child together.

Morgan is already father to three sons from his previous marriage, which ended in divorce in 2008.

Walden, 34, married Morgan, 46, in England last June, and is now about four months' pregnant, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

The couple met at a GQ photo shoot; after their small outdoor wedding, Morgan was asked why he didn't invite his former 'Britain's Got Talent' colleague Simon Cowell to stand up as best man for the ceremony. Morgan quipped, "I couldn't trust him to turn up on time."

Morgan's a pro at conducting interviews, but did quite a round of interviews about himself while promoting the premiere of CNN's 'Piers Morgan Tonight.' In a wide-ranging piece earlier this year, he gave Esquire a glimpse into the down-to-earth lessons he's learned as a parent, saying, "Kids puncture any form of adult pomposity."

Piers and Celia, congratulations on the wonderful baby news. I'm so happy for the two of you.

Piers, I have been watching you since you took over the time slot of an incredible legend, Larry King.

I must say that your incredible British wit, and your incredible many talents, have made me a regular daily "Piers Morgan Tonight". (Larry King... who?)

Again, congratulations to you both. And as I used to say in my homeland, Canada, "God Save the Queen".

Okay by me...not easy to be recognized as a real talent these days, even though one is. Dolly Parton, Crystal Gayle, many in show biz got noticed via a "trademark." As an earlier poster said, "Larry, who?" This guy has charm plus and I wish him and his family well, even if he adopts a Texas drawl (nothing wrong with that either).

Who's having the baby the husband or the wife. Expecting when your pregnant means a woman. I am tired of hearing "we are having a baby."
p.s. I think, he is dry, dulling, boring and pushy in his interviewing skills. I don't like the dude.

'Totally with you on both accounts. I refused to ever use that "we're pregnant" expression. Stupid, stupid. And I agree re: Morgan - poor interviewer, totally overrated, and pompous as hell! (And the dude's only 46? That surprises me. I would have definitely put him in his 50s.)

I hate "we're pregnant" worse than anything! No, "you're" not! Only the female of the couple can be pregnant. Sheesh.

Wherever this guy is from, he needs to go back home. His narcissism is over the top disgusting. He manages to make any interview about himself. I cannot watch any program he is on, just his face and voice drive me nuts. Piers who?

I agree with you. I think he's an incredibly annoying host, constantly interrupting his guest while they are mid-sentence trying to answer a question. He'll jettison over to another entirely unrelated question before the guest has time to answer the first one.

Both of them ARE having a baby, but only the woman is pregnant. I can't stand the "WE are pregnant" baloney" either, but the "we are having a baby" isn't really wrong.

He has three sons back in England he has abandoned. This child will get the similar treatment. He's an awful person, besides being totally inept on the air. He needs to go back to England!

Even thou I am not a fan, still congratulations to both. Why most people think that everyone else is an idiot. None of us are perfect and I am sure we have all asked a stupid question at one time or another, heard the expression takes one to know one. lol
